  • In a Few Words, What’s my Dancing Style?

    Hi Guys,
I wanted to start this discussion because of my growing curiosity. I am not happy with my stage name “Milla Grey” and am in the process of coming up with something more suitable.

I think some of the best stage names are the ones that incorporate the dancer’s dancing style.

Thus far on SV, I’ve enjoyed how supportive all the veeners are and I usually get comments like: Looks Strong, You’re a Machine, etc. I tried thinking of a few names on my own that relay that in it, but haven’t had much luck.

I was hoping that I could have a few ladies on here, that would take a look at my pole journey thus far, and to describe what you think of my dancing style, my technique, etc. I would greatly appreciate that.

    Thanks for reading,
Looking forward to hearing from you lovely ladies and gents,

    -MG

Sexy is the first word that came to mind. Your outfits and shoes always give you the sexy dance style.

Thanks, Mara. I really appreciate you answering this! I love the sexy outfits and shoes…
I never used to be a “girly-girl” But I’ve found that with pole clothes and shoes—I want them all! I could just roll around in the clothes and shoes, lol.

    Thanks again 🙂

I’m no good at this kind of thing (why my username is actually my name…) but whenever I’m brainstorming these things I use http://thesaurus.com/ that can spark something.

For me I’m most impressed with how fearless and bold you are. I’m much more timid… and you’re all like “here I am hanging by one leg” 🙂

Bold/brave/daring/fearless. you really just go for any trick you want to do and you are very adventurous in exploring your movement on the pole and you just happen upon cool tricks you didn’t even expect or were trying for

I think Shoog just called your jade “viperous”… Maybe you should incorporate Viper in (it sounds so badass). Milla Viper perhaps?

@Ally. This is really funny that you said the viper thing. I have been thinking about viper all morning! As soon as Shoog had said it. I was actually thinking of Verona Viper 🙂 Verona is a city in Italy and I like the name. It’s original to me. But my husband doesn’t like that. He says he likes Veronica. So then I was thinking of doing Veronica Vixen. But then I think I liked what I came up with prior. But we’ll see. I am still thinking about it.

@milla my grandmother was full blooded Italian and my grandfather had some Italian too I think, so I’m Italian enough to get a citizenship but mostly I’m just a mutt 🙂

@Lucca, That’s awesome 🙂 I am not even sure what my nationality is- I am eventually going to do the ancestory.com swab and pay the money to get the ancestor/gene results. It’ll be neat to see exactly what percentages I am. I know I have English in me, but I am not sure about the rest.

I have got a fascination with Italy and Italians now. I am going to try to learn Italian on my own, lol. My husband is 100% Italian. I love the Italian culture.
