    Hi! I’ve been poling since end of nov, I ate too much at Xmas, like you do but I had manage a pole sit and an inverted crusifix, this was before I got Veena’s lessons and I was kicking into but I’m not now… Anyway….. I have now lost 5lb and lost inches but still weigh more than before I started? Is this muscle gain? Also I now can’t grip with my thighs? It is ripping my skin so bad worst than when I started? I’ve got stretch marks on my inner thighs too does this make it worst what can I’d do I feel like I’ve gone backwards and not getting any progress 🙁

    I’ve just thought do you thing maybe they are still sore from trying to plank 36 hours ago???

    That sounds like muscle gain to me doll. 🙂 I don't think stretch marks should affect the pain level in your legs. I do notice that if I take a break from poling my skin starts to become more sensitive to pole moves. You just have to keep practicing the moves (gritting your teeth through it) and it will get better. Just be consistent and you won't notice it anymore. Any break, though, and you might start noticing pain again. Does that make sense?? I now my right knee pit doesn't hurt on knee grips, but my left can't handle the pain yet.

    And yes, your legs can still be sore for a few days. When I was practicing my superman, my legs and up by my tush were sore for DAYS!

    I agree, just keep at it and the skin will toughen up again 🙂
