Our own PhillyPoleJess–the chair/pole routine she did for a gig absolutely mesmerizes me. I have watched it probably a dozen times, at LEAST.

And on youtube…RhiannonNichole, pretty much everything posted from a year till now is in my inspiration file. I love the way she moves, I love the way she dances, her transitions are fluid and creative, I could watch her for hours.   http://www.youtube.com/user/RhiannanNichole?blend=2&ob=1#p/u

I absolutely can't get enough of Lu Nagata, her dance is so relaxed and her costumes are amazing. She's just so different and unique!

This is an Alethea video.  I could watch it over and over agin.  Between her talent and the production done to this video – it justs blows my mind.

HollySatine – I am so grateful you posted this thread.  As a newbie, there are just so many videos.  This is a great way to see some of the favorites of others and learn names of artists to watch.  Squeee!

polergirl – Thank you for the link to RhiannonNichole.  Wow, just wow!  I am so inspired and moved by this piece: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-xR8arFJfeg&feature=BF&playnext=1&list=QL&index=1

salubivires – I love how she mixed in a taste of bellydance with her poling!  You can even hear a few zaghareets!  Just stunning!  Plus, I am so jonesing for the song.

PhillyPoleJess – rafamontanaro does this adorable move at 0:57.  What’s it called?  I would totally coin it as a mini chair sit or something…  And the Chinese Pole piece was very cool!  As for the doubles…speechless!

this piece literally made me cry! i love oona, she is such an amazing dancer and such a bright light in a room. she has said that this performance was done exactly the way she imagined in her head and that she wouldn't go back and change anything, and i agree completely. i think every transition is amazing.

Oona's performance in this video is one of my favourites as well. I just cannot believe she came second – I am blown away by it every time I see this video. The lines, the music, the story – it is just perfect.

I find some of these performances so perfect, though, that they intimidate me. I am often inspired when I see regular folk progressing beautifully, getting stronger, or people who do very few tricks but seem to float around.

I also find Michula's strength and classy slow movement jaw dropping. She never tires me.

Amy – The piece with Oona is just beautiful.  Wow!

branquinha – I also really like the performances where people seem to float around the pole.  It's just so magical how they spin and seem to suspend and defy gravity.  I long to master that skill!  (Well, lots of different skills since I'm a newbie, but especially the art of floating around the pole rather than spinning to so fast I end up at the floor in less than a second.)

This is a great thread! I have loved watching all of the videos 🙂 The piece by Oona is one of my favorites too….just beautiful. I also like this one from Jenyne Butterly, which is also from the Pole Art competition.

Ooooo this thread is great! I don’t have any links cause I’m on my phone but my biggest inspiration is Allegra because she rocks out, is full of sass and attitude, and simply stunning and fantastic! Plus she represents us curvier girls that can still kick ass on the pole! Woot woot!

This is by far my favorite! I have to watch it once in a while and see what move i want to learn next. She may not be the best but i love that attitude, rock chick, just like me. She also was one of the girl of Pure Pole Angel on Autralia got talent http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IPH_laCNR58&feature=feedlikhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I love that video of Kim, too, Tiggertail! I saw this one when I was searching for videos of the Mighty Grip gloves in action. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif
