Hey Everyone! I have a decent sized space on a wall in our master bedroom where my pole is and I’d like to put an inspirational quote on the space. On Facebook I asked for an inspirational quote to go on the wall of my “Exercise Room” but we all here know what that really means! I already have “Dance Like No One’s Watching” for my kitchen so that one is out. Thanx!

I strive to work into a groove,
Learning a new spin or move.
A feeling deep in my soul,
Up, down and around the pole.

At least I made it rhyme…

The best day to start pole dancing was five years ago. The second best day is today.

My top three pole related favorites are, “Decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it”. “If you are persistent, you will get it. If you are consistent, you will keep it”. And, “Instead of giving myself reasons why I can’t, I give myself reasons why I can”.

I love this thread!! Here’s one I like:
“When obstacles arise you change your direction to reach your goal. You do not change your decision to get there.”

Repetition is great, but variation is greater.

This one inspires me whenever I worry I haven’t got enough tricks in a routine – “Don’t fear the competitor who performs 1000 tricks. Fear the competitor who does a single trick 1000 times.”

Haha I also love this thread, and the contradictions already found in it. What I just posted about repetition and variation is kind of the opposite of what Raven Kai just said. But there’s some truth in both I think! It all depends on the picture…

Maybe don’t fear the competitor who does 1000 tricks in this comp, but fear them in three years!

    And:
Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, it’s a mistake.

I love all of these! It really has me thinking and spending too much time on Pinterest LOL. When I find the perfect one I’ll post the results here. I have this one in a hallway near my kitchen too.

Ha Ha! I just read one that says “You dance with your feet on the ground? How cute”
