Instagram Videos
So I tend to make “To Do” pole move folders or bits of combos that inspire me. I used to video them with my phone and then save them to the computer. But now with instagram (as shared by Heart of the Scorpion) I am using links to keep track of them. So I thought I would share some of my links if anyone is interested. A lot of them are similar, lots of shoulder rolls and on the ground stuff (low pole/floorwork). I’ll get stuck on something I like the look of and end up downloading or recording videos of basically the same thing over and over without even realizing it 🙂 Some are more ambitious than others, but here goes! oooh this is a good idea… i need to find a good (electronic) way of storing up combos etc, my pole diary is an actual notebook i cart everywhere with me – great for keeping track of moves ive tried but its always a pain in the ass when im in the studio hunting on my phone trying to find the new move i want to try next…!! Oo

You def inspired me to start writing down pole combos! I’ve already started a list 🙂 some things I found really hard to put into words though or I would put it down and come back later like…what the hell was I talking about? So the videos work better for me for subtle stuff and looking at written down combos is much quicker. I don’t go to a studio though so everything is pretty convenient ^_^

I got an app a while back that saves Insta Vids to your phone for this very reason. But I actually just forgot about it until now! Oh man, I’m going to have folders and folders of to-do videos 😛
