  • Inverted V (chopper) I feel winded/sore back?

Hey guys wondering if anyone had any advice? Inverted v is really starting to annoy me because I am inhibited practicing because of the pain. It’s not long lasting but just when I’m trying to perform the move. I invert with pole on my left side and it’s my left side where I get the feeling like I’ve been winded. Any one any ideas or suggestions? I’ll try and post a video of me doing it if that helps? Thanks xxx

Can you invert properly to begin (no kicking, controlled)?  Are you trying this with straight legs or tucking and then v-ing your legs?  I was not able to do a straight leg chopper until about a year ago and I ahve been at this for 4.5 years.  If you are feeling winded then something is not right and you should not pursue this until you find out exactly what it is.  You can end up hurting yourself.

    And videos ALWAYS help!

the left side, meaning under your shoulderblade on your back? could be lats, or if it's on your front, could be intercoastals.if it's a sharp pain, then STOP. either way you most likely need to refine your technique or strengthen… a video would help.
