I live in Coralville Iowa and I'm just wondering who else here is from Iowa? I've met one lady (Ms. Desirae)

I'm from Fairfield (about an hour south of Coralville). It's too bad there doesn't seem to be much of a pole scene in Iowa. I'd love to be able to take lessons or workshops without having to drive 5 hours to Chicago.

I know what you mean. There is one a little over 30 mins away from me but I dont have a car at the moment so I cant get to it

TThere is a studio in Des moines. Kees camp. It is awesome! just make it here, just once!

There is also a studio just north of Des Moines in Ankeny. http://tgrfitness.com/  The instruction there is amazing and they are a fraction of the price of Kees. I've done both. Nothing against Kees, they just don't fit in my budget anymore.

Desirae, They have pole play every Saturday at 10 if you would like to come play. The drop in class rates are 1 for $15, 2 for $25 or 3 for $30. I did the drop in rates at first while deciding which of their classes I liked. Then I bought a membership accordingly. The girls there are really sweet. Come check it out sometime. I'm usually there every Saturday for pole play.

I guess there are more pole studios than I thought–cool! TGR looks nice and affordable. I'll have to check them out the next time I'm in the Des Moines area.

I'm in the Des Moines area as well. I have tried both studios in Des Moines, but ultimatly went with TGR Fitness also. I take pole & fitness classes there and I teach aerail silks/lyra/hammock. Anymore Iowans out there?

Not in Iowa, but close! I live a little over 2 hours from Des Moines :o) I am in Omaha, Ne. Everytime I am in DM I go to Kees Camp!

I swear I saw a place on Coralville area. I wanted to go to an open pole last time I went back home to visit but just didn’t have time. Of course I can’t find a link for it now…poop!

It was called Wicked Enchantment pole dance studio. The website doesn’t seem to be working. Hopefully it didn’t close 🙁
