Is there a way to purchase just the plate and dome?
So I checked off of craigslist. It is for sure a real brass x-pert. But the guy selling doesn't have the base plate or the top dome. I looked everywhere online. While he's only selling his brass spinning pole for $150 (!!!) I don't want to drop the cash if I can't purchase JUST the plates online. I looked at x-poles site ( well, I looked here: http://xpoleus.com/ and here http://www.xpole.com/ ðŸ˜‰ but all they have is extensions and permanent mounts, which I can't use in my rental home. Suggestions?

Call XPole. They have a lot of parts that can be purchased that they do not show online. As far as I know you can replace any part of the pole.

X-Pole distributors carry most spare parts, the USA and UK stock all spare parts even the old XP parts. Product support is very important for X-Pole.
If an older part the part is not in stock it can be ordered from our manufacturing facility although this will take time. For newer pole parts, even though we carry good stocks of key items, if we do not have it, we will often rob a set to make sure your back in action ASAP.
Never worry about support for an X-Pole, we wil get a part somehow, even if it takes a little time
