Hey all! I am back! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy:)

I am very excited. I just got an 8 week package again and I am very excited to be back in the pole studio. I was so severely sick on this past Sunday though with a GI bug, that I couldn't make my clases this week 🙁 but I have one scheduled today and I am going to do "homework" w/ my home pole over the weekend. Also lost a touch of flexiblilty. Can barely touch toes and lost my splits. About 2-4 in from floor depending on the day…will get them all back by summer I hope 😉

I could invert(sloppily hehe) but lost just about all of my upper body strength! I have set up some goals for myself and I can't wait to work on them! Anyone else returning back to pole post partum or other?

Already lost 30lbs, but my goals are strength, flexibility and tonehttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Goal of this month specifically: make all of my pole classes and ATLEAST 2days at home "homework" on pole.

Thank you polefairy!  A new pole sounds like fun! We will have to make some goals together. I still have to put mine up…so, I'll try to get it up this weekend. I did clear out my guest bedroom, so I can put it in there…I am very excited and I will be in the "beginner boat" almost b/c I have to strengthen my pelvic floor, arms, back and legs…just about everything lol. I'll post pics of progress and maybe vids too if I get that computer savyhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif My mind and body remember how to do the moves but I lost the strength in them. Like I can climb, but only two climbs up. I can invert, but so sloppy…so it will take a lil while. I don't mind though.

I am going to have a baby any day now! Literally! I am so looking forward to getting back into pole and have been contemplating how to go about setting up my goals lately. I know a lot of my upper strength is gone as well a well as my core strength, and well flexibility lol. It’s all good though, I know in time with proper training it will come back! Anyhow, I will be following your progress and cheering you on! Congrats on little one!

Thank you  ninja! Congrats on your baby too! I am nursing so I don't have as much time to play all in one go-but I can play at home. My official time back to pole was two weeks ago. I could sloppily invert! Anyway, I played at home this morning and success. Slowly getting it all backhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I hope your labor goes well! I think my body took  some of my muscle to make our baby lol…so now I'm working on getting it back.I have pole class tonight, so I hope I'll make it!

Thanks! I am super excited for you! I don’t have a studio and I am dying to get my pole back up, but good things come to those who wait! I am really glad I have my own though since I will be nursing as well! Yeah, babies take a bit of or bodies, but we are built for that! Again, its awesome that your getting back into your thing, its easy to set ourselves aside when babies come! Happy poling!

Our pole was under the bed from 30wks pregnant-10wks postpartum. We just put it up in our spare bedroom. I felt kinda funny this week that I wanted to go soooo bad. I had to remind myself that my baby is only 2 months old, so plenty of time for that.

Got into the studio today, yay! Had fun and look forward to my next one tomorrow. Goal this week: make next class, plus gym 2x by Sunday, and stretch 4x by Sunday

Don't worry about your pole ninja, it will be there when you are ready!.

Hey poledancing13! Conrats on your baby too! I would suggest the x-pole static or spinny. I have the spinny. I have seen four people on it before and its the main one used in competitions. If you want something permanent, I hear Platinum Stages is the way to go.The Carman Elektra is more of a novelty gift.

I  originally got a faulty x-joint but x-pole switched it out w/ me.I also needed help putting it together even though the youtube vid looks so easy. Other than that, its been great. I have the 50mm, chrome.
