    Hello Beautiful Ladies!

I am 2 months shy of turning 50 and just starting my Pole Dancing Journey!  I am so happy to have found this site – how supportive and wonderful all of you are!!!

And, all of you are just an inspiration to me!    Particularly those of you who are 40+ and the Grande Dames!  It is possible to be fit, fun, confident and sexy at any age!

Thank you so very much for your responses!   I have always loved to dance but somehow and something led me to Pole … it is way above my current capabilities … but I am committed and willing to work very hard …  and so very happy I have found this site and all of you!  Now in the process of setting up my room … thank you again!

Yeah!  I love newbies.  Have a fun journey.  Remember to focus on enjoying what you have accomplished, and not just focusing on what you cannot do.

After 4 years I still find this challenging and fun and my body is in the best shape it has ever been in my entire life.

I just reread my comment!  I need to remind myself of this – I'm always thinking about what I want to do next LOL

I agree with the comment poleclimber made. Its really important to focus on your own growth and achievments and not focus on what you will do next or what others are doing. I have had a very slow journey in developing my skills and muscles and I should try to remeber to focus on what I can do not on what I can't. Welcome to the site! 🙂

I'm looking forward to seeing pics of your pole room!

Pole is a wonderful experience that you can unfold into as your strength and flexibility grow. Keep in mind also that your artistic focus can always change and grow. It is diverse and life changing!

Welcome welcome again and look forward to reading all about your journey. This is your path to enjoy, you can't go wrong.

    Hi All ~~

Thank you so much for all of the welcomes and suggestions.  Yes, I will definitely put up pics of my pole room.  Got the pole and installed it … its sooooo beautiful, I want to sleep next to it … LOL

I know this is going to be quite the journey as I did a physical self-assessment and have a lot of work to do in the flexibility/strength areas.  I bought tons of Epsom Salt because I know I will be soaking away plenty of soreness:))  But, I am up for the challenge and so thrilled to have found this site.

Thank you again for being here and for being so supportive!
