Just wanted to introduce myself :)
Hello everyone! My name is Yvette and I started poling at the end of January/ beginning of February this year. I train at Total Woman in Fargo, ND and also frequent the new studio ZG on the weekends. I just moved to the area last summer and so pole has helped me find a community of people I am excited to be a part of. I am saving up for a pole, so that I can start taking Veena’s lessons :)This year… *fingers crossed*

Happy to see you here! We welcome new members, and if you have any pictures or videos, feel free to share them! You can also ask lots of questions here- I’ve never seen a single one thought of as “silly” or not worth asking! We’re a very large and diverse group, so someone is bound to have interesting answers for you!
It’s always awesome to hear that someone is finding community and connection through pole dance, too. It can be really hard when you just moved to a new place!!
Some of Veena’s lessons here can also be done without a pole- she has chair dance, and even hooping lessons, as well! You can always poke around in the lessons section, in case there’s something you’d like to learn about before you officially get your own pole. Also, if your studio has “open pole time,” you can take some ideas with you to try out!
