I LOVE this site and I wanna be able to show people my profile and other videos and cool pix but when I click a profile and theres nipples showing and thongs I start to feel like this site isnt what i thought it was. I use to show people my profile and others to prove that poling isnt what people think. One of the first things to pop up when i logged on tonight was NOT what I would consider appropriate. I have NOTHING against dancers being that I danced not even 2 years ago, i would just like this site to stay clean. I understand that booty shorts are the best thing to dance in but thongs? and your cooka barley covered? Maby im the only one who feels this way, forgive me if Im being dramatic.

I think its important to remember that poledance IS sexy also. There's alot of ways to do poledance and one of them is the sexy or exotic. I dont have a problem with nudity, but would understand if people felt uncomfortable with seeing nipples. But dancing poledance in your thong, should really be up to you. This is not a site for most children anyway, so I think its important to accept eachother flaws and all :), which is something this site is very good at.

Yes, def agree that it is sexy but there is a difference between sexy and trashy. Like I said I use to dance im def not "offended" by a little booty and cleavage but nipples? I just think thats trashy.

I want to agree with the opening post, but then again everyone has different opinions on what they feel is “clean”. I get really uncomfortable when people post pictures and videos in thongs and barely there bikinis. If you record progress in whatever you dance in, that’s cool. But you can always keep those videos and pictures to yourself, privately on the site or with friends on the site. Nipples slips are really awkward and I know everyone has had to deal with it from time to time, but I don’t think it’ appropriate to post a photo where one might be happening, even if it is purely for comedy.

We don't allow nipples, or nudity. If you find a photo that has these things, please feel free to contact us, with a link.

cwalden43 – We don't allow nudity on the site, if you have found something please send me a link so I can delete it.

As to bikinis, that is the choice of the dancer, we try not to pass judgement because the level of appropriateness, even in competitions, runs the gamut from barely there to requiring booty shorts and shirts that only show the midriff.  Also as an international site there is alot of differing opinions on what is appropariate and what is not.

I'll put in my two cents 🙂  I think exotic dancing and poledancing are always going to be somewhat intertwined. Because at some point, all exotic dancers are pole dancers. They may not be able to do lots of tricks and but they utilize the pole. It is annoying when people stereotype pole dancing. My "work" poling at the strip club is waaaaaay different than my pole dancing sessions or classes. But I don't think we should try to alienate those who do both forms of pole dancing as there are many of us who do.

In terms of nudity and thongs, those of us that work in that environment tend to get immune to it. I almost left my house one day without a shirt on! lol. I mean, everyone has nipples. Men, women, children. Are they really that offensive? Americans are a bit uptight about nudity, in my opinion. Other countries, people run around mostly naked on beaches and all of that. I think we should all try to respect each other. But I don't think that this site is any less informative or any less of a haven for polers just because of some nipples and thong photos.

I went to get the link and tthe photo has just been deleted. I didnt mean for my post to seem as though I'm up tight and offended  by nipples and booty, i just got a little heated when i went to show my husband something and he saw that photo and asked me why i have a profile on here and iasked me if I had photos like that.. I met my husband at the club I worked at and he also even thought it was a bit awkward.

Lets be careful about using words like trashy.  Remember there is a large part of the public that judges pole dancers as trashy we certainly don't need to bring that lack of tolerance into the pole dance community.

I dont understand why other's photos would be a cause to ask why you would have a profile on a certain site. Other peoples ideals and choices are not a reflection of your own. Just because someone likes to dance in a thong doesnt mean everyone does (or that there is anything wrong with it).

I am a member of a different site where it is well known that some women post very provacative shots to get attention and to have people "follow" them on the site. That doesnt mean that my photo album is full of pics like that, nor does my husband ever question why i have a profile there. In fact he has taken every photo i have ever put on there so he knows what kind of pictures i post.

As the others have said, not everyone has the same opinion on what is "trashy". I am not offended by nipples nor do i find them trashy. its just a body part. Doesnt mean im gonna slap a bunch of photos up of my nipples, but i also dont judge others who would like to. I mean, they arent my nipples so really who cares???  If a lady can rock a thong then more power to her!

I’m sorry you felted this way! Feelings are your own, so however you feel- that’s okay. What you do with the feelings- that’s when (hopefully) rationality comes into play.
I believe there are always risks in misinterpretation so I will do my best to protect myself. That’s all I can do.
Remember feelings and emotions are human, rational is humane.

My bad kitty Brazilian shorts & Victoria’s Secret boy shorts (yes boy shorts!) are so yummy my bum bum eats them. Ie: I have a large bum bum and full coverage is IMPOSSIBLE.
I’m 5’9″ and 155 lbs, Brazilian Butt Lift video has done wonders!
Some shorts look like thongs but are not.

I had a similar experience recently on this site. I was mooching through a profile and came across what I considered overtly ‘sexual’ or ‘seductive’ poses. I felt it was unnecessary. There was no nudity however. It’s fine to post pics of yourself like that but perhaps it might be best to limit them to people you ‘know’ – esp when you consider that ANYONE can access those pics. Personally it just wasn’t what I expected to see here being that this a pole dancing site not poseprovocatively.com! And I am by no means prude. It was just unexpected!
