  • Keeping your pole warm?

So my pole is in my basement, and so needless to say its pretty cool down there.  We are going to be adding an ac/heat unit at some point to try and keep the temperature more comfortable down there, but in the mean time, does anyone have any tips on how they are currently keeping their pole warm in their basement?  As soon as I touch it, it's like instant condensation since my body runs so warm and the pole is frigid lol and so of course it makes it hard to do anything.

My pole is our basement and it's pretty cold down there during the winter. I use a space heater and leave it on for about 30min to warm the area and the pole up. Others have used blower dryers, garment steamers, pots of boiling water at the bottom. I'm sure others will chime in with what they use. LOL.

@ Witchess, I've tried the blow dryer thing, and that just takes FOREVER. Not only that, but it really does not work all that well =\.  I guess I could try a space heater but our basement is pretty big so it would take a good while to heat up the entire room enough to warm the pole up 🙁

We have a huge basement too, but i put a space heater on a wood chair and set it almost touching the pole. I also prop th heater facing up a bit so the hot air blows up the pole. Just be sure to check the temp before getting on. My pole hot spot was right where i did a pole sit an just about burned off my inner thigh skin! Pole was more than warm….it was hot!

@ Lyme Lyte, Thanks for the tip! I'll have to try that out 🙂 I didn't even think of putting the space heater on a chair lol.
