Lessons on DVD?
Posted by Firefeliness on February 27, 2011 at 10:26 pmHi Veena,
Am just wondering whether or not your lessons will ever be available on dvd? I pay for the access but it is often not useful for me as my pole room is the opposite end of the house from my computer. However I do have a wall mounted tv in that room for pole dvd's. I would love to be able to purchase the lessons on dvd so I could watch them while trying out the moves.

Wow, this would be a fabulous idea! Your online lessons are GREAT and it's excellent that you can keep updating them, but DVD's of the moves you've got now would be wonderful!

We've explored the idea of a DVD and at this point our current goal is to make our video content available on as many Internet connected devices as possible. Our videos currently play not only on your computer but also on your iPhone, your iPad, most android devices, many blackberry devices and the PS3. If you have an android phone or iPhone most devices have video adapters you can purchase (for less than the cost of your average DVD) that will let you connect them to your television.

webmaster,
thanks for the info. where could I find an adapter for my Iphone? that would be sooo cool to see veena on my tv, thanks.

@Stuffy – You can stop in at your local Apple store or order it from http://www.apple.com. They are really fun little devices.

Wow webmaster that sounds great! How would I check if the content will play on my Blackberry? Is there a free lesson or test that I can do?
Thanks!

@MichelleH – There are two free lessons on the lesson page, just give those a shot and see what happens.

I have an HTC android phone & the videos won't play on it 🙁 it just says" sorry this video cannot be played". Is this something that will change soon?
-
@tequilalily – Which phone do you have, in most cases the requirements for you to play video are that it has android 2.0 or higher and that the hardware(your phone) is sufficient to play h.264 video. While this is the great majority of android phones out there, there are some older ones and a couple newer ones that do not meet the requirements.

It's a HTC wildfire. Just looking at the back of the box & it says it's Android 2.1

Was just talking with the HTC support & they say that to watch online videos u need adobe flash & that's not available for the Wildfire 🙁
-
@tequilalily – We actually use a format that is better than flash for mobile devices, however the problem with the HTC Wildfire is it doesn't support video scaling.

Thanx webmaster for finding that out for me, i hadn't a clue…OBVIOUSLY. Its no big drama, just wudve been nice to be able to lie on the sofa or in bed & watch the videos lol.

i cant view the lessons on my torch blackberry!!! 🙁

Though the mobile viewing is portable I find streaming videos on my mobile causes huge phone bills and I dont want to pay huge dollars each month for large phone download limits plus online lessons. Guess I will stick to running from one end of the house to the other……….. and trying to fnd dvd lessons that are as good as veenas, no luck finding that so far! 🙂
