I love my LM, but wish they came in a 40. I also don’t think they spin as smooth as an X or PS.

my first ppole was a LM and i loved it!! it never slipped for me and im a good 140 lbs! and believe me i swung around on that thing and did advanced tricks. the only problem i had was it ate thru my ceiling stud BUT we are talking about a mobile home ceiling stud that is not as big or sturdy as a house/apartment stud. i have the x stage now and love that too! it depends what your situation is, so i cant recommend one pole over the other. just know they are both great poles! and veena is right, any pole can slip or come down, it needs to be checked often and installed correctly!

and i actually love the powdercoat finish so much, i just coated my brass x pole.

I have a lil mynx and I was very disappointed in the product. It is stainless steel and a dual pole (static and spin). The spin was always horrible. I thought perhaps it was just my pole. Nope, I have a friend who has multiple LM poles and they all do that. I think it's a decent pole if you're looking for only static but otherwise, don't waste your money. I love my X-pole.

I think that PS has the best spin function of those three. By far, in fact. And I am picky about my spin, because its pretty much the only way I use my poles.

Megan is ur X the multiple pieces? Isn’t it a pain to put it all together or no? Has it ever slipped out of place on u?

It is in pieces but my friend put it up in like five minutes. I've never taken it down. I've never had it budge since I put it up.

Pixi, where did you find a place to powercoat your pole? Who does that kind of stuff? I’d love to get mine powercoated.

Google powder coating. Just has my brass done last week n got it back w a huge crack in it!!!!!

my husband knew of a local place, google it for ur area. mine came out great!!! i feel bad LL’s had a crack! 🙁 but that doesnt mean itll happen to urs! what did come of that LL??

Nothing came of it. The guy said they didn’t do it! We have rigged something together, hopefully it won’t crack any more. I will have it up tomorrow night. Excited to try the grip when it’s up, but when it is down, feels just the same! 🙁

I was actually planning on starting a separate thread on this–I wanted to caution any future buyers against Lil Mynx for their 45mm poles. I had no problems with the 50, but just recently bought one of their 45 spin mode poles. I was very disappointed that they use the same mount as the 50 mm, and this mount only has a small contact point for the 45. My husband worked construction, and we are anal about how we installed it (and I regularly measured and leveled it to make sure it was safe). Well, a few weeks ago I noticed the mount looked funny at the ceiling–it actually ate into the drywall and became loose (as another poster mentioned). It was about to fall, and I had no idea that it had become dangerous. I contacted Lil Mynx, expecting to at least hear a concerned response. Instead, the company just mentioned 3 reasons why it would supposedly fail, and all 3 were user error (which I can guarantee is not the case in this situation). I'm pretty insulted, and very disappointed that this is their response. After all this, I can promise I will never buy a Lil Mynx again! Buyer beware.
