Hello. I am in NJ and don't have anyone to discuss and share my pole life with. Anybody looking for a new friend send me a request 🙂

Oh cool! How are you liking FL? Find any pole buddies yet or a studio to play at? Its so hard when you are not near a major city! ugh

It's great to hav Studioveena to network.  I found someone who is a loner like us in a town that is about 30 minutes away.  We met here on Studioveena and now we meet like 1 time in the month to pole.  If you can get to just an event or two, then that is much better (I think) than needing to schedule around studio hours/classes.  I've mean so many wonderful ladies that I still keep in contact with.  You don't need a studio 🙂

Thank you for the advice. Not many "events" in my area but I'll keep my eye out

In case you haven’t heard from anyone else already, there is a studio called Body and Pole in NY. Many people here on SV have either visited or attend regularly–great great great stuff, they all love it. You can sign up for 1 class without needing to buy an entire package. There they would also know whats going on with upcoming workshops and you may find some others who travel there to visit when they can. I would love to just be a fly on the wall of this studio, haha.

Oh and by “one class” I mean just one lesson (1 hour, I guess). I think that is just a super great deal since its not just a “trial class” for people who are interested in trying it out.

And Natasha Wang is coming to Philly next weekend!! https://www.studioveena.com/events/view/Natasha_Wang_live_performance_and_workshops_at_Awakenings_in_Philly_1333632373

romangoddess – I'm in north Jersey (bergen/passic county area). If I take any classes, it's would be in NYC at Body & Pole or NY Pole. However, there's Wellness on the Green in Morristown. Not totally inpressed by their videos, but they're getting a new pole instructor, Marina Cavallini (who is awesome), so it might be worth a shot checking out.

@ JelliCrew – I have been to Body & Pole, awesome place wish i lived closer. I have a private scheduled there with Marlo Fisken in a few weeks. I noticed Natasha Wang will be in Philly but I decided not to go since I will be training with her for a week in St. Maarten this summer.

@ pinsrforkids – Its funny you answered my questions before I asked lol. Anyway , I have heard of Wellness on the Green but wasnt sure about it either. I guess we'll see if it improves with the new instructer. Please keep me posted if you hear anything or end up taking a class 🙂
