Hello all. Going to be moving to Houston soon form Ohio and I’m looking for a new pole home. I’m currently at a studio that’s super supportive, that emphasizes strength and tricks (but also has sexy classes if you want them), and that has Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced classes daily as well as other fitness class (Zumba, AcroYoga, Silks, BodyPump, Grit, etc). I’ve been looking around Houston websites and I am having a hard time finding something super fitness focused like this. Any help? It would be greatly appreciated!

There are I think like 4 studios around Houston. What part of the city are you going to be in? This usually will play a part in where you end up because Houston traffic SUCKS!!!!! I have been to S Factor and Poleteaz and I think there is Verticality and Inner Me. Oops, looks like there is another called Revolve. Hopefully some of the Houston girls will chime in as I know there are a few here.

And just out of curiosity, what part of Ohio? I am a Cleveland transplant.

I’m in Cincinnati. Yea, I saw all of those when I was looking. It’s so hard to get a good vibe on places through web pages, though. I’m sure they’re all wonderful studios, but I want one that’s a good fit for me, so it’d be nice to know what other people thought about them. I mean, if all else fails, I can just practice by myself, but community is really important to me and I’d feel like I’d end up quitting if I couldn’t pole other people at least now and then.
