I’m going to San Jose this weekend! 😀 that means that I’ll be at Poletential for open pole (I want a not-ghetto non-garage picture LOL) and will be there Sat-Tues. Last time I went it was short notice. So this time I’m looking for Veeners and whatnot, since I’m in the bay area like…8-10 times a year…so hopefully I will make a pole buddy I can be friends with for a long time?

;o; looking forward to not foreveralone.jpg…..hopefully..

Totally not anywhere close to you, but are you anywhere near San Francisco? I’m visiting mid-January and would love to meet pole friends. :3

If you give me dates I can ask super nicely for a favor! And then we can pole together :D!

Yeah, San Jose is like, half an hour away from San Fran.

I'll be there from the 10th to the 15th. Who grants these favours for you? :3

Two friends. One works for an airline company and the other let’s me crash there for free :3 I’ll see what I can do about tickets this weekend and I’ll send you a message if it all works out.

CapFeb: I live in Santa Clara but can't go to Poletential this weekend :(. When is the next time you come? Are you living in AZ? My husband's parents live in Sun City AZ and we just came back from the Thanksgiving trip there.

Darling dearest: I'd love to meet and pole with you and CapFeb in January when you come. We can all hang out in SF. Keep in touch 🙂

Yes, I live in north Phoenix area :3 my home studio stopped doing open pole so I make the drive to Prowess across the valley in Tempe. They’re the only studio that teaches advanced other than Pussycats, but I’ve had complications with Pussycats in the past.

CapFeb: Awwww you travel just to go to pole studios? I admire for your passion! I’m planning on a trip to LA in Jan or Feb to try some studios over there. Any of you guys interested?

I’m saving my money to go to PoleCon next year. I travel to SF because I have friends there who I’ve known for so long that I know they won’t bail on me or cancel. So I’m there atleast 6 months out of the yyear.

The studios here aren’t really far. They’re 30-40m drive. So it’s not really traveling for pole studios. It’s more like I travel and get pole in on the side.

I’ll be at total pole class Saturday 😉
I don’t usually do open pole as I converted my garage to a mini pole studio.

:/ I get into Oakland on Saturday at 6. Otherwise, I would love to go, I hear great things about that class!

I'm curious what's so great about the total pole class? (if you don't mind sharing it with me) I usually go to Sedusa studios because it's closer to where I live, but don't want to miss a great opportunity either. 😀

There’s a spins workshop on Monday too at 7:30. And Sunday a signature tricks workshop with Phoenix Kazree. I’ll be going to the Monday class.

I usually do the power pole classs either Tuesday or Thursday. This will be my first Saturday total pole class so ill let you know after! 😉 my understanding is that it’s like power pole but maybe more transitional and dance moves too. Basically everything, spins, tricks, transitions, holds, inversions. The instructor is Ellen aka Dr Sultry.

Ahh! A class with Phoenix! That would be my first celebrity workshop but I’m sure it’s probably booked. That and I have a lunch date at like, 1:30, then I’m going home to make dinner (duck) and dessert that needs to chill for 5 hours (chocolate pot de creme!) But if they have a spot open I might take the bus home just to take a workshop. I didn’t read anything about Phoenix in the newsletter.

I personally don’t think I’m at a level where I would benefit from that kind of workshop but she is an amazing dancer. I think it’s been in the past several newsletters? For sure the last three. There’s spots, just reserve online. Hope you can make it! 😉
