Lost: 1 set of Boobs
Posted by northpole on August 11, 2012 at 5:36 pmSo ever since I've been poling, I've found this new appreciation for my body and I love being strong and muscled for the first time in my life. I always wanted to be waify and thin, and it was never happening. Turns out, my dad, the powerlifter, passed on his physique to me, I just had to develop it. Awesome, yay me. Today I put on an old bra I haven't worn in quite some time, and damn, it was now big on me. So here I am all happy with my shape, and by boobs are shrinking! My husband assures me it's no big deal, and it's true, I'm still happy with my body…. but damn. From a big B to a small B.
Perfectly normal,… right??

as long as you’re happy! I remember someone posting about this issue about a month ago. I don’t think it’s that strange, considering breasts are mostly fat. When you build muscle….you know how it goes.

Oh how I would love for some flat boobs. I think flat is the new sexy! Sorry I spent thousands on getting my big! Would rather have a big bank account at this point!

Par for the course unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it). When I am 130 I'm a C. 120, down to big B but down to B and 115, small B w/ stretch marks https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif All I can say is Oh Well. I am usually happy at 115 b/c I like the way my entire body looks there. But for boobage purposes my friends and the world tell me I look better at 120 than 115.
My butt gets noticably bigger and smaller, too https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cool.gif

Boobs are really just strategically placed lumps of fat, so I think it's perfectly normal to lose a little of that fat too! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Years ago when I started figure skating I lost 20-30 pounds and went from between an A/B to a small A (but I love my little boobies; if it's too hot in the summer I can just go braless!).
I would assume that perhaps building some strength in one's pectoral muscles would increase perkiness, just like working glutes can add some booty. Just a thought.

I have been unhappy with my breasts majority of my life. I have a small A.. 🙁
But over the last year i have really grown to like them because of pole. Of course I do not think I will ever love them or like them 100% but I say my likeness of them has improved drastically!
I have a very large round booty- so i always felt unproportioned. I am still debating on implants. But i can say i like what pole has done to my small beastlings thus far. They are perkier and have rounded out their shape… I have been worried about the side effects of having implants if i want to continue to progress with pole- every doctor i have had a consult with (4 docs) all recommended the implants be placed under the muscle due to the lack of breast tissue i have now- for optimal desired shape after recovery… And under the muscle i hear takes longer to recover from and some women have noted that their implants are pushed down on when they are poling… It has been a lot for me to think about so the decision lies in the middle of the road for me- i have put it off for now.
I do not think i will ever go through with it if I continue to be so 50/50 o my decision. -
I also wanted to add- some of the best polers have small breasts… Alethea austin being one of my favorites and having really small breasts.

I have big boobs, double D's currently, and tripple D's when I first started poling( implants at that!). They get in the way! I cant get any inverted forearm grips because they get in the way, the armpit holds took me forever to master because the boobs get in the way. They fall out of all the cute pole clothes, and they are extra weight to carry around. I cant wait to have them reduced! Had I been into pole before I got the implants 5yrs ago, I would NOT have done it. They are fine otherwise…they just dont mesh well with pole for me https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

It's pretty normal, from what I've seen on the forums and blogs. In the six months I've been poling, my body has changed (definitely more muscle and less fat now, hooray!) and part of that has been my boobs. So far, I've gone from a 36D to a 38C. Yeah, those sizes are pretty comparable, but the overall change in *shape* is noticable. As my back and lats have grown, the overall roundness/plumpness of my bust has gone down quite a bit. This is not necessarily a bad thing! I never thought my boobs could be so firm and high in my forties, at least not without surgical intervention. These days, I amuse myself (and my partner) by flexing my pecs. Heck, he's promised to buy me tassled pasties when I get so that I can isolate my pecs and maybe make those tassles twirl. 😉

Ohhhhh do I ever know about this… I gained so much weight with my last pregnancy, kept it on for a year, breastfeeding… Lost weight, lost even more after doing pole for a while… I had flabby socks! I am well aware of all the small breasted pole dancers but there are others who are not flat. I recently had breast surgery and got small implants. I went from an A(?) of saggy skin to a 34 C, I think. I am 8 weeks post op tomorrow and I really love it. This was something I wanted to do for me and I would gladly do it again. I am still not a 100% on my pole but my progress back has been good so far since I am taking it kinda slow. I can honestly say that I could have lived with my saggy boobies and would have been quite content since I would rather that than still carrying the extra baby weight. Having implants is not a solution for everyone! But for me, it was a gift I gave to myself and I am glad I did–downright giddy, actually. No one has even asked me if I had them done since it only looks like I am wearing a padded/push-up bra. Only now, I don’t take my boobies off each time I take off my bra. I don’t want to be known as “the girl with the implants” but I was not able to find many pole dancers who were open about their breast augmentations. I feel it’s important to pass on my experience since I have mostly read about complications and complaints. Nonetheless, congrats on your muscles and awesome pole bod!!! I’m sure you look just sensational, smaller boobies and all (;

I wish I had smaller boobs, I am a 34G (all natural) and it is really restrictive. Poling can be tough as any move that the arm goes across the body is blocked and when pressed against the pole my back wants to automatically arch.

I never had big boobs to begin with. I overflow in an A, but too small in a B. When I had my son and fully engorged I was a size C and I was so happy to finally have a rack! lol. Now I am back to having "tea bags in the wind" In sports bras it's not too bad since they fit ok and there isn't too much boucning, but it's the proportion size to th rest of my body that makes me feel like I am ab unfit man in a woman''s body

Like you I never jiggled before I had kids. When nursing I had dbl d’s and men ceased looking at my face when I spoke. Now the kids are grown and gone and I have to fight gravity and age. I may never be skinny again but I am toning up and detest the jiggle on my chest that stii don’t feel right on my frame!

Its so funny to hear us talk about our boobs, partly because we've only ever experienced our own boobs, but also because there's so many things people tell us about our boobs. I was watching "Diary of a Nymphomaniac" and the main character has small boobs, and I thought, "well, in Europe they're ok with the lead being sexy with small boobs", but then I thought, but she looks normal, she's pretty, but not like a drop-dead hottie, because the sexy leads in many American sexy movies are racked! ….Then I read this:
http://www.thefword.org.uk/features/2008/12/i_was_saddened/
Which is an article a woman wrote about the difficulties she experienced when others felt the need to react to her large boobs.
Long story short, it makes me happy to know that we have a place where women stick together and are supportive (mostly, right?) of one another, and it makes us free to share and talk. Whether we have big, small, expensive, only one, or no breasts at all. Thanks ladies! You're the best!

I love my boobs! You should too, I bet you look great https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Not that I really thought it was needed, but my larger more rounded pecs lifted and perked up my boobs! I lost a little size but overall because I didn’t experience much weight loss, I didn’t notice a huge difference. I’ve always had smaller boobs (small B), and a friend in highschool said something that stuck with me and has always made me chuckle and feel better about it. He said, “Any more than a handful and the guy risks spraining a thumb.” and, “If they jiggle when you brush your teeth, then you’re good!” I still think back to that (mostly when brushing my teeth, lol) and think, yep having small boobies is A-ok. 🙂
