I am envious of those of you who are able to shrink your breasts just through working out. I'm looking at reduction surgery within the next year because in the past 8 years my weight has gone up and down significantly, and through it all my cup size has been exactly the same (DD), and my band size only went from a 36 to a 38. Granted I don't really kill myself at the gym or on the pole – I bet if I worked really really really hard at it, they'd shrink along with everything else – but who has that kind of time? LOL! I have enough trouble just getting in one pole practice a week.
That said, I'm proud of my body and think about it way differently than I used to as well, now that I've seen what it can do. I'm thrilled with my legs, arms and ass, I just gotta work on the midsection. Big boobs aside, I have a short torso in proportion to the rest of me, so any extra weight on my torso does show up as flabby rolls. That's been my biggest frustration.
And YES big boobs do get in the way, in a lot of ways! Running, jumping, dancing, squeezing through crowds, trying on clothes… I look forward to post-reduction bralessness.

Well, if flat is the new sexy than I should consider myself really lucky because I have the tiniest, smallest boobs (30A). For many years I was feeing very unhappy about it and even thinking of surgery. It has all changed since I started poling. Pole dancing gave me new confidence and acceptance for my body. Plus it turns out that being flat-chested can be a real advantage in pole (or any sport for that matter) 🙂
But please, girls – don't say you hate your breasts! Saying you hate your body is like saying you hate yourself.

I have alwasy been small chested (a small A cup) and even when i got really heavy they didn't grow much. But whenever I lose weight its one of the first places it goes from on me. But I have found that working out helps me keep them looking good, regardless of size. i have nice perky little boobs due to my pec muscles. 🙂

I have small boobs too, 36A on a good day. lol. I love them though I can run, dance, pole, go braless whatever. They are smaller then when I began (small B) but mine have always fluxated with my body fat. Funny enough I weigh about the same as when I started poling…but boy my body is different. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Oh I know, PlatinumAni, me too! I lost 15 lbs when I started, then I gained it all back in muscle. I weigh the same as I did 3 year ago, but I look totally different! I love not caring at all what the scale says. I'm free of it. It's awesome! 🙂

I worry about this a lot…
It took me 23 years for my boobs to FINALLY come in (by sheer will power and determination)
I just started two months ago and they're already a little smaller… please Lord don't make me choose between pole and breasts https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Since I started poling over the last 2+ months I've lost about 8 pounds. I like the way my body looks now, but I do miss my boobs a bit (shrunk from large 36D to 34C). I've lost a bit of weight everywhere and since boobs are mostly fat this is to be expected. The only thing I hate is that they're not nearly as perky as they were even years ago when they were the same size, but that's probably because I'm not 19 anymore.

i have small ones i used to hate, but that was back when we were young and all guys cared abt was boobs, lol im happy now i got my love and didnt need boobs to do it, a little confidence booster there, altho my big butt may have did it, JK lol. anyways i love that they dont get in the way when i pole!! i love that they had no chance of busting when i did roller derby, haha. all in all im ok with mine, not happy as i cud use a lift even as small as they are, i have breast fed twice. im an A and havent noticed that theyve shrunk since i started poling abt 9 months ago.

I've lost my bewbs too. And I cry about it every time I think about. it. I went from a full C cup to an A in a month when I quit the birth control pill for medical reasons. Being fit and a pole athlete doesn't help either.
I found out recently that I cannot get a boob job because of a heart problem I have. Looks like I am stuck for the rest of my life with small boobs. 🙁
I cannot buy bras anymore. It's so sad. The smallest size they sell around here is 32A but that is too big! My true size would be a 28A but no one sells that. FML! I even buy kids clothes a lot because womens clothing is too big in the chest because I don't have boobs to fill a shirt.
I've always had bad body image issues. I always feel inadequate as a women. I'm embarrassed to wear a bikini sometimes. Sometimes I'm embarrassed to be topless in front of my own husband. Because when we met I had huge porn star looking tits and now I look like a child. I feel like a women stuck in a 7 year old girls body. 🙁 I'm going to be 30 in 6 months and I'm often mistaken for being in high school! 🙁
The only place I'm comfortable about my small boobs is my pole studio. There we preach self acceptance and love your body the way it is. Thanks to SASS studio I'm comfortable strutting around in a sports bra. 🙂 Thank god!
Recently I've been working super hard on a self attitude adjustment. I've stopped buying Oxygen magazine and other fitness magazines because all the women in the magazines are all super lean with huge muscles.. and breast implants… This isn't an example of a healthy woman..
A healthy woman loses breast fat when she works out and gets in shape. It's a natural consequence of getting into shape and I wish society would view that as okay, and not okay to lose your boobs. So lately I've been taking a stand and not giving into societies pressure to look like the perfect women that doesn't exist unless you have 10 grand for plastic surgery. I think we should just all love ourselves the way we are. And accept the fact that breasts change a lot during your life time. (Weight, medications, pregnancy, hormones, fitness, etc) 🙂
Love ourselves ladies!!!!! <3 <3 <3

My boobs are the biggest they've ever been (because of birth control), which means they're a full 36A. As opposed to the 36AA they used to be. HURRAY. I don't love it, especially because I have a huge ribcage and broad shoulders, and thus not even a small frame to match my small boobs. But what can you do, you know? I like my legs, so I try to focus on them, and dress to emphasize them and not my boobs.
@MrsNaughtywed: I'm sure you already know of the site, and it is fairly expensive, but you could try http://www.herroom.com/ . They definitely have your size. ALSO, it is my own personal opinion that you are stunningly beautiful. You don't at all look like a high schooler.

What moves do you train a lot which you think might have contributed to you losing your chest??? I desperately want to lose some of my 34DDs, I really really dislike them but too scared to get a reduction surgery as I am trying to love my body as it is and also comments from other women going 'you should be thankful etcetc' but I'm a shy person by nature and anything I wear that is remotely fitted to my top just attracts stares from people and I HATE it. Bizarrely I think a few people in my classes think I have had an enlargement because they are way too big for my body size and I'm self conscious about people thinking I intentionally want big boobs…. I've been poling for 4 years and haven't noticed a drop in size :((((

Ollie, unfortunately it's not possible to spot-train your body to just lose weight in one area. However, pole requires a lot of upper-body strength, much of which comes from the pectoral muscles that are the foundation underneath our breasts. Training the pecs can certainly change the appearance of breasts, but does not always reduce them – they may just become a bit more lifted.
Some people, myself included, just don't lose weight from their breasts. For others, that's the first place to shrink when they start losing. It's a pretty individual thing.
If you think a reduction would make you happier, don't be scared off by comments from other women. I totally relate to the comments of "You're so lucky" or "I wish mine were that big" to which I always reply, "Take 'em."
If your breasts cause you discomfort or pain, emotionally or physically, you don't have to force yourself to be grateful for them. It's not like naturally big breasts are some sort of privilege we take for granted (even if other ladies may feel that way). They can be a real burden. You wouldn't let others talk you out of getting a mole removed, so why your breasts?
Getting your breasts reduced is nothing to be ashamed of, and it does NOT mean you don't love your body, just that one piece of you outgrew the rest!
Yes, there's an element of vanity to it for anyone who doesn't need to get them reduced for medical reasons. You know what? OWN IT. Yes, I love my body, and I care about how it looks, and I care about how I feel in it. Got a problem with it? Tough – it's not YOUR body.
So seriously, don't let anyone else's words or sideways looks shame you out of a reduction if you think it would make you happier. Do it for YOU, not anyone else.

And for the record, I don't think they look that disproportionate at all. You do have a small frame but they don't scream "obvious implant" to me. For what it's worth.
