I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Charley and all the other girls who were involved in putting on such a great show!  I'm so glad I made the trip, my first live pole show was a ton of fun and I got to meet and talk to some of my favorite pole dancers!!!  The only bad part of the night was that I had to run away shortly after it was over, my dad and husband both had to work the next day and we had a 3-3.5 hour drive ahead of us.  Otherwise I would have stuck around to chat, mingle, eat birthday cake, and play on the poles.  All the performers were awesome, and I have to say Canada was well represented, on the pole as well as in the audience.  There were a number of Ontario plates in the parking lot besides our van lol.

Another big thankyou for the afore mentioned birthday cake…I don't know who spilled the beans but it had been my birthday 2 weeks before the show (my parents took me down as my b-day present) as well as one of the lovely performers Divine Miss Em had her b-day approaching.  After the show was over they called us both up to the stage.  I had to do a double take, I was thinking, "they don't mean me?!?!?!" But sure enough they did, and oh my…what a birthday surprise we got!  Birthday cake, and also birthday lap dances from all the performers and even Joel got up and shook his booty for me!  Now, I will admit to having a lap dance (or 2, or 3, lol) before but never by so many talented women and men all at the same time!

All in all it was a great night, I hope to attend more shows and competitions in the future and maybe someday get up the nerve to perform something myself.

    Love you all, dustbunny (Carolyn)

I had a great time too! Sorry I turned down the cake normally I never would but I was drinking a huge beer and thought they might not go well together 🙂 you are so cute and next time we will for sure have to chat more I wasn't feeling too well so I wasn't as chatty/social as I would have liked to be either. All the performers were fantastic I was so proud of everyone…and I have Joel giving you guys your dances on video…https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

LOL I can't wait to see that vid!

I forgot I wanted to tell my story of crossing the border to come down for the show.  I don't know if any of the other Canadians had an interesting conversation at the border but my family did.

We drive up to the gate and it's a young, cute guy in the booth.  He asks us where we're going and why we're coming down, so we tell him we're going to a dance show in Madison Heights.  The next question of course is, what kind of dance?  So we all chuckle and my dad says, well we were hoping you wouldn't ask that.  Now the border guard is looking at us strange, like we have something to hide.  So my dad tells him it's a pole dance show.  His eyebrows go up and we get the typical, what?  So my dad is telling him that we're all going down to the show for my birthday.  The guy wants to know how we found out about something like this, so I tell him I'm part of a pole dance community online.  He continues to ask us questions I don't think he believed us at first.  So my dad tells him, look we can even give you the name of the bar if you want!  And he says, it's at a bar!  This just keeps getting better.  How much does it cost to get in? LOL  I told him it was free, I think if he didn't have to work he would have come!  So after chatting a few more minutes he laughs and says, Well I'm pretty good at my job and I can usually tell if people are lying to me.  But, I don't think you guys are lying about this one!  So we drive away and my whole family is laughing our asses off.  My mom says, I'd sure like to be a fly on the wall in the break room tonight.  LOL  The whole thing was hilarious, we had him completely stunned.  He didn't know what to think about a whole family coming down from Canada to see pole dancing!

Carolyn!  Thank you so much for coming out!  Your family actually sent me a napkin with a note on it so I found out – it worked out perfect because we had Divine Em's big day coming up too!  I was walking around the entire show knowing you were both getting lapdances!  Thank you for being such a great sport and coming up for it!

Hope it was a great birthday celebration for you!

Your parents rock by the way!
