Midwest Pole Dance Convention
Had a great time watching some incredible performances at the Convention last night! Met some new friends, and really enjoyed cheering on my girl, Glitterhips! I was too far away to get good video, but hopefully there will be a site that will have footage available. Next year I'll have to get a weekend pass instead of just one day….Thanks to Mary Ellen Weismann for making this available in our area!

Yes! I was there too! I took photos in the morning and then had workshops with Estee, Alethea and Michelle Mynx. I loved the VIP showcase and competition in the evening. I’m also hoping there is a place with video footage of the competition.

I had such an amazing time!!! :-)) I was able to stay Fri/Sat. Wish I could have stayed for Sunday too. I loved everything! So much fun!

Samantha, or Star as we call her, is a manager and teacher at the studio where I train. She’s so amazing, so proud of her!!

I completely agree, Calypso. I take my lessons with Star and she is freaking incredible. Amazing teacher and performer!

I cannot thank you enough Mary Ellyn fo an amazing event which was exrtremely well run. You and your staff were amazing and supportive. It was such a fun time.
This was the first time I've ever really gotten to watch a competition from the audience and just enjoy (Friday) and I have to say that was an amazing experience. It was truly difficult to know the outcome of any of the divisions. Everyone was so brilliant I cannot imagine what a difficult job it was for the judges.
Samantha Star blew me away! Lorinda Kay made me cry, Amy Guion was stunning, Charlee was brilliant and creative but also really FUN, Mary – oh wow Mary was so pretty and breath taking! I love everybody.
The essential division was particularly moving. It is so hard to dance with just your body and spins and evrey single girl was off the hook amazing! Nekia Morris made me well up just a little.
I got my first mika outfit and some vertical edge stuff too – love them. Vendors were so great this year.
Looking forward to next year (not competing, watching and hopefully coaching.)
