New to this, and just wondering if anyone had used any of their products and found them to be of any good? Thinking about a purchase here, to help aid my confidence on the pole but don't want to throw money away either.

    Thanks everyone 🙂

The gloves come in 2 different ways-tack or no tack. The tack ones are good for spinny pole so you don’t slip. The non-tack ones are for static mode. I have the gloves and used them when I first started-it did help with my confidence in not slipping as we’ll as inverting, however after a while your hands sweat and it can kinda be a pain. So I switched to mighty grip dry hands and I love that. (Finding a grip aid that works for you is going to just be trial and error-it’s body chemistry and what works for one won’t necessarily work for another). The only things about dry hands, for me, is I would get blisters after so long on the pole.(this eventually goes away as your skin develops resilience) Thus if I did have blisters or was recovering from the day before, I would put the gloves on to protect my hands. So to answer your question, I would say the gloves would be a good investment. Also I have the ankle protectors-there’s a kind that you can where with heels(which I not care for cuz they’re Velcro) and there’s a kind that just slip on kinda like socks-I have and love those-they have tack on the top part of your foot as well as your shin-BIG help when it comes to climbing. And it helps prevent bruises which I’m sorry to say, are inevitable as a poler, but it def helps. Haven’t tried the thigh protectors but I would imagine it would be the same deal as the ankle protectors.

Thank you very much for the feed back. You "hit the nail on the head" as to use of Mighty Grip gloves and anklets. They are training aids that will help both the novice and the professional to train harder and train longer minimizing some of the bumps and bruises that come along with sport and athleticism of Pole Fitness/Dance.

    Much appreciated,

    Joel

I have the tacky gloves. I have super sweaty hands and still can't find a decent grip aid lol the gloves work for me at first but then my hands sweat and since they are fingerless gloves my fingertips start to slip.

I want the ankle protectors really bad though.

I have the mighty grip gloves with tack. I can't seem to use enough dry hands or other things enough to keep my hands from getting sweaty. I have to have the grip gloves. Perhaps if there were a grip aid that had an antiperspriant in it. That would help and I could move away from the gloves one day.

i have the mighty grip full fingered gloves and they are really awesome.  totally solves the sweaty finger problem.

ultimately, i'd like to not depend on gloves to much, so I try to not use them too much, but i think it is a useful tool to have if you struggle with sweaty hands.

i had no clue they had full finger ones now too. i am definitely going to check that out! do you have the tacky or non-tacky ones katana?

i'm like you i try not to depend on the gloves. i use them when i want one less thing to worry about (like trying to perfect a move and you don't want to have to worry about slippage) or on those days i am just a sweaty old mess. sadly most days i just feel like a sweaty old mess haha

I also have a question, specifically about the ankle grips. According to the size chart I wear a large, but I have tiny feet and ankles (I wear a kids size 5 shoes) so I’m wondering if a smaller size would be a better idea. Any advice plz?

    Hi XhavokX,
I would suggest you try the medium. If they are either to loose or to tight we will exchange them, at our expense, for the proper size.
You want the anklets to fit tight enough so that they do not slip when using for gripping the pole but yet not so tight that they cut blood circulation.
    Hope this helps.
