I have both mighty grip gloves with and without tack. 🙂 I loooove my gloves with tack! You and I both know that does hot days here in dk makes the pole (and everything else) so moist. But with my tacky gloves I can pole without problems on those days. The ones without the tack, I have used only once. They dont work with my chrome pole. I even feel that I have a better grip without any grip aid, than with those..

Wow, this post makes me think I need gloves With Tack. I have gloves which worked initially just to help me get used to holding the pole until I gained enough callus on my palms but they are now USELESS against humidity and I also have a very slippery stainless pole. i see so many people use gloves but perhaps they have the Tacky ones…gonna check them out.

I just ordered a pair with tack because I think they're the best if you want grip when doing tricks that need strength. I think the tack-less ones are to avoid "callus" when doing spins and stuff (i don't know if that is the correct word – i google translated it 🙂 ) but you prop. know what i mean.

I can let you know how the tack gloves are when i get them 🙂

Definately the tack ones will give you amazing grip, and it will be hard to use them, doing spins on static pole. But for a spinny pole they are great 🙂

I have the tuck ones and I'm pretty happy with them. I use them on spinning mode and to practice variuos strength moves which require strong grip (flag, shoulder mount, pencil mount, hanspring, etc.). I feel much more secure with them on than just using my bare hands. It is true though that you cannot do spins on static or dance a routine with them on as they are just too sticky. The gloves should fit thight so make sure that you don't buy the ones that are too big. If your hands move around in a glove you won't have secure grip.

I have been using the tack ones for a year or two now & love them! I really only use them when working on more difficult tricks, like everyone else said, its nearly impossible to dance with them- they just stick too damn much!  When I bought mine I ordered an xs i think, I have pretty small hands & have to use kids gloves in the winter to fit correctly. Strangely enough the xs were tinier than my hands & had to be returned for a small. Service was great & I haven't had any issues with them since then… Def. recommend the tac ones!

I'm not a big fan of gloves in the first place but I do have a pair. I don't really use them unless I'm doing pull-ups or something. I have the tack ones.

A word of warning on the sizing though… They do run really small like scarlett said!! I'm a ring size 4 so I figured I would need a small. They're extremely uncomfortable. I have long skinny hands and they are definitely NOT made for hands like that…. The glove is way, way too short for my hand, and if I size up they're much too loose to get a good grip without my hands sliding.

I've also seen a lot of pairs get entirely destroyed by ripping/shredding… pretty much every girl in my studio has had theirs shred, idk if it's because of our poles (VERY grabby powder) or because of the gloves themselves.

    Hello ladies,

Thank you very much for your comments. We always look forward to feed back to help improve our products.

First, Mighty Grip gloves are meant for training purposes. Tack are great if you want to practice an inversion and leg placement and you don't want to worry about hand slippage. Also the gloves help beginners built muscle strength. As one strength improves there is less need for the gloves. If you are a professional and train for many hours a day, the gloves, both tack and non-tack will allow you to train harder and longer without as much damage to the skin.

As far size or damaged gloves, we will always replace gloves that damage to quickly or that do not fit properly. We have designed a glove for Zoraya Judd that has a longer palm for someone that has a longer hand as compared to the width of the hand. Also a heavier duty ankle protector is available, also designed for Zoraya. You can those items on our web site under Zoraya's Signature Collection.

For those that are using brass poles or also do cross fit training we have a heavier duty glove that will stand up to more vigerous training.

Hope to see many at the L.A. Pole Convention. Many new protective items have been added and we will be introducing our newest formula of Mighty Grip for pole dancer (Special Formula). Fast acting, and for use under colder conditions.

    Thank you again,

    Joel B.
