I'm about to order these shorts from Mika Yogawear but I'm not sure of which size to choose:

Since this brand is quite popular now I thought I'd ask for your opinions on sizes.

Medium is obviously size 6-10, and when I order jeans from UK I always go for the 10, which is perfect for me. But I'm afraid I'm on the border line now with these shorts since they range all the way from 6 to 10. Maybe I'm a Large in this case.

Are these shorts, just like many other hotpants, very small? For those of you who may have any Mika shorts, you go up a size in these comparing to your normal size for pants?

I'm 98 cm (38.6 inches (3'2.5'')) around the hips at the broadest point.

Would be greatful for your help as I don't want to return stuff in vain 🙂 TY!

Hi, my hips are the same as yours 38 1/2 sometimes I manage to lose an inch, my Mila (les) are size M/L and they fit well washed and worn tons and still good.
I don’t have any shorts to compare these with, but I do have 2 pairs of bad kitty Brazil bottoms in medium, the Mila Elias give more coverage,I love both. Shipping from Mila yoga wear was really quick and cheap Band they were helpful when I sent a question to them. Sorry for my spelling Tec I’m on my kindle and it doesn’t like me !! 🙁

I found that their size chart was accurate in helping me find my size in the Mikaela shorts.

    Thanks for your replies!

I had actually missed the size-chart they had but now I've found it. I'll have a closer look there. It does say that if you're unsure it's better to go one size up.

That’s true, but keep in mind that the fabric is stretchy. Good luck!

The mikaelas are very stretchy. I have 36" hips and wear the XS even though I take a S in their other styles 🙂

Looking at than size-chart, I'm quite sure what to go for now, the M/L. Anything larger than that will be too big, especially since you say they're so elastic. Thank you 🙂
