Anyone have any good advice on where to get tall mirrors? I need something at least 6 feet tall, and the width doesn’t really matter as I can get multiple. Not looking to spend a ton of money, but can’t find anything taller than 4 feet!

I need them to lean against my basement wall, they don’t even need to mount.

I had posted a thread on  mirrors a while back and PegasusAerialFitness had pointed me in the direction of mirrors at the Home Depot. I went with the 5ft by 3ft mirror and put two side by side. I know that is not the 6ft you mentioned but that was the tallest I could find without getting a mirror shop involved.

Some members also replied that they used Closet Door Mirrors for track closet doors… and those were taller. I liked that idea but due to the uses of my dance space that wasn't an option I could use.

I bet you get some other suggestions too… wishing you luck on finding the perfect mirrors for your space!

Thanks!  I think I'm going to try and look at Ikea to see what they have, and then instead of having them lean against a wall, try and double tape them up about a foot and a half so I can get better height.

Lyme Lyte also suggested to look at hotel furniture outlet centers which will be a great idea when I move in to my own apartment.  They are just a 50-60 min drive from me so I will see if I can get by with the IKEA ones first.

IKEA has some cool stuff! The mirrors you get should have instructions on suggested mounting. Make sure that whatever you decide they are secure so they don't fall on you.

I saw these in a video here and thought they were so cool!!! No Ikea's in my area though.

I definitely will!  I'm putting my pole up next week hopefully, so then I can start posting videos too.  I'm so excited!

If you are not dead set on 6 foot mirrors and can go with 4 foot instead, Walmart typically carries door mirrors that are about $5 and measure 12×48.  They are in a cheap plastic frame that is easy to remove.

Maybe it depends on the person removing the frame! i got those cheap door mirrors and broke not one–but TWO–trying to remove the frames. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

Oh, yes, IKEA has some cool wavy mirrors–no frames!

We paid under $100 for a 6' x 8' set of mirrored closet doors for my pole room at Home Depot. We leaned it against the wall too but we also put a hook on the back to latch it to the wall just in case.

    That’s a great deal!

My dance room is slowly becoming more and more expensive…haha

Check craigslist, too: I got a 7′ by 4′ mirror for free from a former gym owner. I saw a couple more reasonably priced big mirrors, too.
