Vertical in Tallahassee Florida is proud to host the 1st Miss Pole Florida Contest!!! This is a 5 week series for Florida poledancers!!!! There are no requirements except that you be a pole dancer in the state of Florida and can put on a hell of a show!!!! I hear that every great dancer out there started with a millon rejects before getting the acceptence. I also know im not that good yet since ive only been doing this for 3 months now but I think by 6 months at the rate im going I will be good to go. So why not go ahead and get a head start on the rejects so that by next year when I choose to enter some of the bigger competetions, I will have some knowledge of whats its like to be in one. Ive never competed in anything and if I started something my mother would always take me out, so its a nice feeling to be doing something for myself and knowing that she cant take me out of it!!
Im glad to know more studios are doing little home state contests like this one. Its not only great for the pole studio but also the community. It gives us girls with no experience a chance to shine and be part of something bigger than ourselves. So thanks for putting it on!!

I am so happy to see the positivity and excitement!! I am not turning away or "rejecting" any videos. This is an all levels contest, based on your creativity and performance skills. I’ll put it like this: if a girl competes only knowing basic spins but puts on a better show than the beast of a dancer who does 25 of the hardest tricks, who do you think the winner will be? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif I say, if you have a passion to do it, then that’s all you need!!!!! I look forward to seeing more great videos and hope that all girls not competing this year will prepare for next year’s contest! If you aren’t sure about it, come watch!! Either way, it’s going to be a great show! And we have celebrity pole and dance judges for each contest, and invite only private lessons with each at Vertical, so come get an autograph or learn some new skills pole jammin with the pros! You have four chances to compete, so check out the group page on facebook to get the deadlines and let’s do it to it ladies!!!!!!!! (men are welcome to compete too!!!)
