Just wondering… for science… has anyone super clever here managed to treat street clothes to be grippy enough to still play on a chrome pole? I know you can get vinyl leggings that are supposed to grip ok, but that’s not what I have in mind. I’m wondering if there’s anything you could spray or brush onto, say, jeans, or cotton/linen harem pants.

I’ve never done this but I’m guessing one could use that puffy paint stuff from a craft store and paint it on pants, it should add some grip since it’s rubbery and flexible since it’s made for fabric.

I have found a spray called Super Grip which I was planning to spray on clothes to see if it would help on the pole but haven’t got around to it yet. Another plan I have is to try cutting strips of clear vinyl and sewing them on side seams to see how it works.

Have you heard of Creatures of Xix leggings? I know it’s not diy but they sell leggings that supposedly grip the pole very well. I have not tried them personally though!

I just went to a pole show where the couple both wore jeans, and they used some sort of silicon wrap for around the pole to make it super sticky!

Kind of solves your problem… but in reverse? I think it was this: http://www.stuntgrip.com/grip-wrap.html
