Having just come back from Africa, I’ve found a group I’ve fallen in love with and I want everyone else to love them as well. I want them to be famous outside of Africa! They’re called P-Square and they’re from Nigeria. My favourite song of theirs is No One Like You, but I can’t stop listening to their other tracks as well. Their music is quite upbeat so you can work up a good sweat to their songs. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_DJ.gif
Youtube them and see if you like it as much as I do https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

does anyone have any good jazz recommendations? im really into old school jazz lately- stuff like dexter gordon, cab calloway, max roach, stuff like that……miles davis is talented but i have a hard time getting into him because he was so damn full of himself lol.

I don’t have any Jazz recommendations at this point, I am however going to use your suggestions. LOL. If it helps, though, my rhapsody suggest Don Cheetham, Clifford Brown, and Fats Navarro. I know for a fact that Leon Redbone is absolute, but I’ve no idea if he’s of the same jazz genre as your guys.

I also second the love of P-square. Super jam! No one like you is fantastic, and what a way to warm up the hips!

I don’t know if I suggested it already, but I loooove the new Akon album! Love-love-love!

One of my new favorite artists is Jem….not like Jem and the rockstars (when we were kids) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif I like dancing to her stuff when I want to be a little slower and sensual.

Hey, I happen to be a huge fan of Chicago… great stuff even though they were around before I was born!

I’ve been in the mood for Def Leppard lately… "Pour Some Sugar On Me" for when I’m feeling a lil frisky and "When Love and Hate Collide" for something slower.

Fiona Apple´s got some really good songs, like ‘criminal’ or ‘shadow boxer’. And ac/dc is also great, in every sense!

I love Fiona Apple! My favorite is the way things are. So sexy to dance to.

Monsieur Gainsbourg Revisited is a … super album using translated Serge Gainsbourg lyrics. It has monster names.. Portishead, Tricky, Franz Ferdinand, Placebo.. … my favorite has been the song "Requiem for Anna".
