Yes, from the floor, if you have the lessons here I show you how to start working on many things from the floor first.

2 ways, you can do a reverse handstand into an inverted crucifix and then bring the body around to the side and get into it that way, or a more difficult way if you are not bendy is to do a side V and then wrap the lower leg up the pole and get into a flatline scorpio and then again drop into it.
-
Climb the pole and with your forearm grip do a pole hang. Then going across the body hook your “top” knee and lower your body down into a jasmine. From there you can lower your body the rest of the way and move from a gemini to a Scorpio. Sounds more complicated than it is.

Jasmine is similar ti a shooting star however the lower leg is behind the pole instead of propped on it.

Oops…..it is the same as shooting star. Look in the gallery that Veena has on the site.

They are the same. Different studios use different terms. You will find that a lot in pole and there are many variations to moves as well.

I knew you would get some great responses!! I’m learning some new ways, as well!

You can also do a thigh rest/apprentice, lean back and hook into a Scorpio.
