My fist pole perfomance
I’m calling on your help and knowledge ladies and gents! I’m sorry I haven’t been around much but I’ve been working full time and raising my three children, so not much time to post. I’ve been poling for three years this Xmas and have used Veena’s lessons to progress to where I am today. I also use a local studio where I mostly drop in to sexy choreo classes. Feeling inspired by the instructors there I have graduated to 7 inch heels and am really enjoying the sexy side of pole. My studio had a showcase in Dec and after a few glasses of wine…..I’m on the list!
I have chosen my music and a few moves I would like to include. What now? Any tips? Also, how do I control my sweaty nervous hands on the day?Thanks in advance!

Oh that’s exciting!!!!!
My tips would be relax and enjoy yourself, no one will know if you did a spin where you had planned an invert so don’t stress over forgetting choreography! I usually just freestyle but anytime I’ve planned choreo, I listen to the music over and over while laying down and visualizing the routine. If you normally have sweaty hands they will probably sweat more so take some time to try grip aids that work for sweaty hands. Dirty girl is the only one I can think off right now so hopefully someone else will have a suggestion for that. DON’T use itac on the hands.

Thanks for your reply Veena! I found that lesson incredibly helpful. You’re right, I should just enjoy it and not stress. I’m doing this for me, it’s something I set myself to do before I’m 40!
