I have questions!! Is it easy to install? Did your improvements sky rocket when you got it? Have any of you named your pole?!?!
-
What kind of pole did you get? Most are easy to install but I suggest following the directions and not trying to second guess things or skip ahead. There are specific ways each pole needs to be installed for it to be safe.
Lots have named their poles.
I know a lot who have rooms and areas dedicated to their poles (I call them the lucky ones). Usually mood lighting, a decent stereo system, mirrors and some sort of camcorder are the next purchases, not to mention all of the cute booty shorts, tank tops, sports bras, wipes, grip aids, etc etc etc. Oh, and music music music!!!

A friend of mineinstalled mine when I first got it. I think it took him about 40-45 mins to get it perfect. When I moved it was pretty easy to take down and put back up (mostlybcuz I didnt take it apart completly), but it takes me about 5-10 mins to put up and take down every now and again. My pole's name is Ol'Silver and as far as improving and progress, it does help between studio classes…at least you're able to practice what you went over without having to rent studio time. Hope this helpshttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

When I got my pole, I had never done anything like it in my life, nor did I play any sports growing up. Since she ( I call mine a she) has powder coated my grip has gotten better.
I have a small spot in our basement, just wish I didn't have to share it with hubby's guitar cases. My next purchase will be a better video camera so I won't have to hold our regular camera hostage anymore. I am at least lucky to have decent pa system and speakers to rock the house out https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif Don't know what we're going to do when my pole obsession gets worse and I aquire more stuff!

Yes, my improvement increased when I got my pole as I could practice on it whenever I wanted to. Yes, most poles are easy to install. If you got an x pole, watch their insallation video. It makes your life a million times easier. Yes, I named 2 of my poles. My TG x pole is "Goldilocks" and my brass PS pole is "sassy (brassy.)"

OMG…I saw "improvemetns" as in improving your room/home, not skills. DOH!!

I had my husband help me put it up the first time, now I can do it allone , it’s not to hard.
And yes I can definetly feel improvement , I am much stronger because I can practice more and I can take as much time as I need to try a new move . Have fun and congrats -
