    Hi everyone,

I have just finished creating my pole based website with my life on the pole. I hope you like it? I have a photo section that I hope will help people with remembering names of moves. There are 3 sections to this photo part. One for spins, aerial and floor/ transitions.

    http://www.polegoddess.net

I have to mention that Alena Downs has been my pole mentor for some years now and I would like to thank her for the help and tuition she has given me in that time.

I own my own pole and aerial studio in Hong Kong called Pole Paradise Studio http://www.poleparadisestudio.com. Please stop by when you have time or when you are on holiday.

The flash is great on your site! The text (like in the bio/news sections for example) is really difficult to read however because it’s simply too small.

That’s odd as it comes up normal side on my end but I will look into it. Thanks for pointing that out.

I was on my work computer on my first response.

Checking again from my home computer it’s better but not great. Lemme know if you want some screenshots sent.

That would most certainly be very helpful if you could help me take some screen shots, thanks.

The forum does not allow PDFs nor Microsoft Word docs to be attached. Send me your email and I’ll send it that way. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I absolutely love the look of the site! I also agree with the words being too small. I suggest spacing paragraphs as well. I honestly didn’t read it b/c of its too cluttered and I’m a reader. Your photos/ videos are great!

I have to agree with everyone else. The graphics are STUNNING, but the text is unreadable on my computer!

When I click on the link, a large purple screen comes up but nothing else. Am I doing something wrong?

Tanks a lot. You can send the screenshots to mailto:info@poleparadisestudio.com

I wonder why it is doing that?

You might have flash disabled or not installed. Assuming symonesal used flash. It might be silverlight or another equivalent.

Either way, that’s the problem with flash websites. They are beautiful and interactive and awesome. But the do cut out a large chunk of potential visitors. For people on dial up, it’s a BIG ask to download Flash, and some people do not have access to Broadband. Flash is also not available on portable devices such as the iPhone, or any mobile phone so far. For this reason, it is always a good idea to have a non-flash version of the website, which will automatically load if the website detects the client’s browser is not compatible or they do not have Flash. Whether you choose to ask your web designer about this would depend on how many of your customers you think might have problems viwing the site due to Flash conflicts. You can register with Google Analytics to find out statistics just like that, about your visitors.

Good luck with the site Symone!
