I think girls on here have called that the viwa pose. I've seen legend do it before.

That's my attempt at it! Although I seem to have my foot hooked on the opposite side to Legend? Wonder if it makes a difference which side its hooked on.  ps – this is the scariest move I've tried YET!! It feels like I won't bend back up in time to get my hands back on the pole, always gives me a heart attack LOL, so use a spotter! (I did, I got hubby to move out of the photo ha ha)

Looks great! In the picture you referenced, she's not doing it no-handed; she has her hands on the pole "above" her head like a bridge.  Maybe try that for security!

Thank you all!  @Shellectra, do you get into the move the same way as in the video sensualscimitar posted?

Nope, I got into it from a side climb! Side climb up, bring outside leg up and cross above leg already hooked on pole and let go and lay back. Will have to try her way next time

i think the pic of shellectra and the video are of a slightly different move– it looks like the knee that is supporting weight is on the other side of the pole, and it's the outside leg versus the inside leg that is hooked =)

i would think that you could get into the pose originally posted by starting in a double knee hang (out of a shouldermount, for example) but i haven't ever seen it before– looks gorgeous! thanks for posting, will have to try!

I get into it from a divine diva and that is by far NOT a great way of going into it – I've also tried to go into from iguana – I think that could be cleaned up and made pretty – I'll have to try from some of the other ideas posted here.  It's a GORGEOUS move!

It is gorgeous!  Getting into it from an iguana sounds promising, I may need to try that out!

I’m still too scared to reach my hands beyond my head to grab the pole and arch 🙁 it’s a really scarves for me, especially when I try to get back up. Can’t wait til I make it pretty!

LeahRose, what do you mean by an arrow?  Do you mean this move?  http://poledancedictionary.com/moves/287/bow–and-arrow-split-grip/

I guess I'd need to see a video of how to do it from the arrow.  It would make more sense to me to make the bottom leg the hooked leg, then slide the top leg down.

Personally I don't care for this move at all if the upper foot is hooked. The Polefit picture is the first time I've seen it where I thought it looked pretty – but it definitely looks a bit scary to me either way!

Tried out the Viwa and posted the video!  It's a lot more secure than I would have expected, especially when you reach overhead and push out.  But I still don't feel ready to unhook the top foot 🙂  I like it either way though, and it's different to use the outside of the knee area to grip.
