I don’t know the name, but in the instructor picture wall at my studio there’s one of Marlo doing it, the pic is probably 4 years old. I always wondered how the hell she got into it and held it, since the CAR makes me feel a little nervous even to this day!

Thanks Amy! I shall start stalking Marlo photos now…

I attribute the amount of comfort in the hold to my gratuitous amount of thigh meat (and a helluva quad engagement.) Otherwise, I wouldn't dare uncross my ankles https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

I dont know the name… (so many, hard to know them all!!) I consider it a variation from the dangerous bridge, aka crescent (?). I have two similar moves on my practice videos compilations of July (4.00min) and September at 0.35min. the last one is closer to the photo, but I kept both legs bent. I can now play with the legs at will, since most of the weight is on the arms/shoulders and back… only need a little bit of grip not to slide down…  at least the way I do it…  not much meat on me to help holding on… anyway…  glad you bring that up..! if anyone know the name, please share 🙂

I do this occasionally. I just thought of it as car/bridge variation. I too have lots of thigh meat! Would love to hear a name though. I will try to find which vids I do it in. 🙂

I do that a lot and have always thought of it as a CAR variation. I also do it from advanced plank (way harder, IMO…. and ironically not as pretty lol).
