I’m participating in a 6-week workshop in which thigh high boots are part of the required uniform. I’m not sure which kind will work for me. I’m short (5’2) and, not to put myself down, my legs are wide and I have heavy thighs. My instructor suggested the lace up kind. I had ordered the Pleaser Delight 3026, but they came to my house today and were not a winner. Because my legs aren’t long, they hit up against my crotch https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif . Also, the width of my leg combined with the fact that the laces are on the front, leaves me with a weird drifting boot tongue because I can’t close the sides of the boot tight enough. Not very sexy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif Does anybody know what will work for someone a bit plus size? Is it better if they lace up the back or side of the boot?

If you’re curious, these are the one’s that I ordered and were not good for me (I bought them for just under $50 a few days ago, I’m not sure why the price is back up right now):

If you’re like 6 ft tall with thin legs, maybe I can sell these to you.

What size are they? It’s my birthday in like 2 weeks and those are hot.

Sorry I’m useless for suggestions. Also sorry those didn’t fit you! It’s always discouraging to try something on that doesn’t fit, whether it’s a boot or a belt or a bikini. I hope you find the smokin’ hot boots that are right for you! It may take time but they gotta be out there.

*EDIT* found these boots on torrid. Might not be quite what you’re looking for, but their website lists the sizes by calf and thigh measurements, so if you keep your eye on it you might find something cool without having to worry as much about if it will fit.

Try doing a google search for "stretchy thigh high boots" – I had a few things pop up.

These ones actually look like they run a little on the shorter side too:

Good Luck, hope you find something that works.

Hmmm, you could always paint on your own thigh high boots with some latex – but I don’t know how well that would work for poleing.

Oh, just thought of something else – maybe you can find leg warmers or thigh highs that are that material?

Stay away from the stretchy kind. There was someone who posted on here that hers tore apart within a few times of wearing them and they were expen$ive. None of the "stripper shoe" manufacturers will replace them as they are "not designed to be used for pole dancing".

Pleaser does make a "plus size" line of shoes and boots. Not sure about the other companies. On the thigh high’s I would look for a style that could be folded over at the top.

Oh, and as for wandering tongue….it even happens when they are tight. I have ankle high boots that do the exact same thing. It is incredibly annoying.

Thanks for the input everybody. I think it will be important for me to get wide calf boots and pay more attention to measurements in the description. I’m going to keep looking and will let you know if I find something that works.

Thigh Highs with a zipper and side laces are the best – plus flat holes for the laces – nothing that sticks up…I am 5"3 and have larger legs and i LOVE these …they are stretchy – but not too stretchy… I have had a pair for like 3 years and they have never ripped.

    I love these too https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    veruca–

I ordered the electra 3050 boots and I’m crossing my fingers that they will work. They actually popped up when I searched for BBW styles. I like the idea of side laces…No tongue issues https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif I also noticed that these boots come with both red and black laces, so in a worst case scenario, maybe I can rig them up with both sets of laces to get them tied around my legs. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I also have the thigh high boot problem. Im short with wide calves and legs. Torrid is a good place to get them, thier shoes are focused on bigger widths. I also had a suggestion of getting more laces so you could open them up more. Tie the new laces where the end of the first laces are you have more room. I had thought about that when looking at boots. Im now again looking for boots for a video I want to do.

I want you guys to post links to the boots that work for you so I can start selling them at House of Pole. And if you guys find boots anywhere, send me a message before you buy them. I do price matching so I may be able to get them for you for cheaper https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I’m kind of bummed about boots. The electra ones are also a failure for me. The length was good and I don’t think my thigh size would have been an issue, but my calves are too big for them. The only other style I think might work are the Pleaser Vanity wide shaft boots. They’re pretty much my last hope. If they don’t work, I don’t think I’m cut out for thigh highs.

These are what I’m talking about:

The Pleaser Vanity 3022 seems to fit! I’m glad they do too, because I don’t think there’s much else out there that would have worked. Apparently this is what you need if your short with large legs. Here’s a pic:boots.jpg
