Need a pole friend!!
I've been pole dancing for only 2 months..and I would love to connect with other dancers in my area. Im not sure if its me or not, or if you ladies have experienced the same attitude- but people who don't pole dance, don't really "get it"… So when I land a new move or something and I share it with my non pole dancing friends, I don't think they really understand!! I would ask if you are in the California area ( or even not) to friend me if you like, maybe chat here and there and hopefully I can find someone in my area that I can maybe take a class with! Its funny because a lot of my good friends claim they want to take pole, but are too afraid!! Also know how you feel. I drive 2 hrs one way to a studio to take a class and pole with others @ pole jams, etc. There are couple people closer to me but it's still difficult coordinating schedules and getting together. The other day my husband kept me company as I practiced (he used to when I first started) and it made a difference to have fun. I hope you can find someone in your area, in the meantime we veneers are here. Have you been able to join chat on Fridays?

@hookedonpole, Yes same thing here, coordinating everyones schedules can be a little bit of a headache. I also have my husband, and he loves that I love it! But sometimes you need some estrogen in the room and not testosterone! lol… I have not done Friday chat quite yet, but I definitely plan on it.

We aren't that far from each other simply country. If you guys ever wanted too we could pole jam at my studio too. I have a PS stainless 45. A xpole 40mm chrome. And a 2 lilmynx. It's in solana beach. 40 minutes from Oside.? Hour from riverside? I think we could FaceTime or Skype together too. I'm going to do the pole jam blog tomorrow with aerial gypsy. Are you ever moving back to SoCal?
