I had a Lil Mynx (one-piece) that was custom cut for my 7’5″ and adjustable up to 8’5″ but the usable space is up to whatever you have it cut to. That’s one of the reasons I switched out of a Lil Myxn. Didn’t like the thought that if I changed ceiling heights, the usable pole cannot be increased.
I went with an x-pole as my second pole. It worked for the 7’5″ ceiling and I’ve used it up to 9′ with no problem. That’s what I love about x-pole, it’s adjustable to many heights and you don’t lose usable space.

I wanted a lil myx when I first started of because of the price and color. but at the end of the day I went with xpole. One yea its expensive but worth every pennie. I can travel with it to any of my friends house. I dont have to deal with screwing thing’s in or the thought of my pole falling because its not nailed enough to the stud finder. And honestly xpole is adjustable to fit any celing so you dont have to worry everytime you move. I live in apts I move every yr never once do I bother stressing if my pole will fit my celing. Lastly xpoles are the best choice because its rare to fibd an xpole for sale on craigslist but you will always find a lil myx because ppl dont h ave room or space. Xpoles are easy to store. But goid luck girl. Buying a pole is a big investment for middle class person like my sself all together I spent 600 bucks on poles first was from lovers. Real crappy investment never do that again. Have fun and good luck.

That was an unnecessary post quancutie23. The OP chose Little Mynx which is an excellent pole, being negative about her investment is not constructive. Lil Mynx is safe and easy to install. It is flexible enough for most people. There are no more Lil Mynx poles for sale on craigslist than XPole, in fact a random sampling of five major metros this morning showed 0 Lil Mynx and 15 XPoles.
XPole and Lil Mynx both build excellent products and if you have chosen either one you have made an excellent choice.

Quancutie, I’m not sure where you got your facts from but, they are incorrect. It’s rude to belittle a purchase some one has decided to make!
The Studioveena pole is an amazing pole (I wouldn’t sell it if I didn’t like it) also it’s sturdy and FAST to set up and take down. The screw actually makes the pole very secure and you’ll put less pressure on your home with the SV pole.Xpole is a great pole as well, but to say the lil mynx is an “unwanted pole” or “bad” investment is totally rude and simply untrue.

I strongly agree with Veena and Webby- I don’t think that it’s polite to belittle someone’s decision… especially when you haven’t quite gotten your facts correct.
I’ve had ONLY Lil’ Mynx poles, and my first I had for over five years. It only fell down due to my own error (and never completely, it was surprisingly safe in that it just slid a bit at the bottom), and I had no issues finding studs in the ceiling to put it up into, or simply putting a little bit of polyfilla into the place my pole was when I moved… very often, when I was also doing the polyfilla in all of the other holes from tacks, posters, and the occasional accident.
The only time I’ve actually seen a Lil mynx (or, indeed, any pole) on Craigslist around here was when I put mine up for sale… because I’d purchased an SV pole, which is also a Lil Mynx.I can completely appreciate, Quancutie, that you love your Xpole and that it works amazingly well for you. I can agree with some of what you’re saying! However, I think that choosing when and how to say things is very important.
