    Hey all

For the next 3 week choreographed dance I'm teaching, I'm calling it "Not Your Mama's Pole Dance" in honor of Mother's Day.

That said, I am *STUMPED* for music ideas. Just not feeling inspired! Any ideas? I'm thinking something definitely sassy and sexy, to make you feel not-at-all like a "MOM."

Thought about going raunchy–Darlin' Nikki, for example…

    Would LOVE your ideas! Thanks!!!

Oh I love Nikki! There is an old one (like me) that I also like. Rock n roll fantasy by Bad Company.

At the studio I started going to, we had a lot of fun with "Pour some sugar on me" by Def Leppard.  Definitely not a routine my dad wants to see, hehehe 🙂

hmmm… I am really stuck on classic rock etc, these days (at what point does 80s rock start classifying as classic? hehe, I guess early 90s is getting there, too!)

    She Rides – Danzig

The Stake – Steve Miller Band

The Question of U – Prince

Bad to the Bone – George Thorogood

Don't Bring Me Down – ELO

so yeah, thats kind of one-dimensional help, but another really fun one is…

    Ruby Blue – Roisin Murphy

do you want more current music(like top 40)? are nast words allowed? LOL

    some suggetions:

    "get off" by prince

    "bedtime story" madonna

    "erotica" madonna

    "bad girl" brittany spears

    "control freak" by mya

    "sleazy" by kesha

    some more current songs:

    "skin" by rhianna

    "badass" by saliva

    "on the floor" jennifer lopez

    "i do" twista

    "kush" dr. dre

I have many more but many of them have a lot of profanity/sexually suggestive so not sure if your student base is into that. let me know…but again those songs are not for those who get easily offended.

    happy poling
