    Hi…

On sunday evening I was going for a ride and got kicked by my friend’s horse. It hurt like hell, so I ended up in hospital – the shinbone is broken. I had surgery right away, they fixed it with a 21″ nail.
I know I should be glad that it was just my leg and due to surgery it will only take 2 months to heal… But still!!! I hate that I can’t keep practising, it’ll propably throw me back a lot 🙁
I just got my extended butterfly and I was so motivated… I wanted to start aysha and keep working on inverts and all kinds of stuff…

Me and my boyfriend wanted to travel to Croatia next week for vacation and I had already made arrangements for lessons at the local studio.

But what I’m missing the most is that I can’t just dance around my pole when I hear a good song on the radio 🙁

OMG!! I am SO sorry. That really just stinks. I can completely understand. 2 months isnt a long time in the scheme of things, but in the moment it is, especially when that's all you want to do! So sorry. Do what you can to keep up strength training. Hope you heal quickly!!

Ouch, I'm sorry to hear about your injury! Just know that, once you've gotten a move it can come back quickly! I've had to start and stop so many times and each time I worry for no reason. Try to keep your strength up in your upper body, this will help a ton, I did that when I injured my foot and came back STRONGER! It had forced me to work on upper body so much more. Focus on healing and you'll be back at it in no time!!

    Thank you both!

I got home from hospital yesterday and will try later on what I can do on the pole…

I already made a list on what to try / practice:

    – arms-only-climb

    – flag

    – jamilla

    – pull up crunches

    Any other ideas?

What really bothers me though is, that I was working really hard on my splits (I've even had some privates with a professional contorsion trainer), and this is what I definatly can't do at the moment so that'll throw me back again so bad 🙁
