I tried hand sanitizer on my hands and pole and my grip has improved a lot. I will give toothpaste a try. 🙂
Thanks for sharing!

It worked when I used my sons kid toothpaste and also when I used Colgate. Hope this helps others 2. Was really impressed with how well I was gripping as I usually have no grip whatsoever. I Just rubbed it Over my hands and then rinsed with water and thoroughly dried & it wrked a treat. xx

I don't have too many issues with grip as I am a fanatic for washing my hands with dishsoap before poling and consistent alcohol wipe downs but I will definitely try this for those occasional humid and diffuclt days!

it makes sense! i've heard of people putting a dab of toothpaste on zits to dry them out, so it probably has a drying effect. isnt there chalk or something in toothpaste? people put chalk on their hands to absorb sweat.
omg it would smell better than vinegar too (imo hahah)

Yea it’s lyk it dries them out and as u sed sells a lot better than vinegar. Lol. It defo works as I have done it a few times 2day Jst to make sure it wasn’t a 1 off thing, lol. Let me know how us all get on. xxx

Wish I'd read this sooner. I just purchased a couple new grip aids when all I needed to do was open up my medicine cabinet and voila! Well now I have 3 grip aids to play with! Thanks for the tips! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Lol, ur welcome ninja sarah. Was totally by accident I came across it, lol. It’s like it dries out ur hands which is perfect fr those like myself tht suffer really sweaty hands n hope this tip helps u. I’ve tried 3 different makes of toothpaste and they all worked. I’ve tried grips aids b4 and none of them have helped lyk toothpaste has. I hate grip aids as they seem to make ur hands all sticky which is useless wen on th pole. Let me know if I have any joy with it also. 🙂 xxx

How is it after a couple minutes- 1/2 hr? What finish is the pole you’ve been trying this on? Are you warmed up, the pole warmed up, room ventilated (?spell)
I have BAD grip and I have tried so much ideas, waiting for pine tar! And it all comes down to (for me) the different conditions of me, pole, room, weather/temperature.
Paste or gel. Haven’t used toothpaste idea yet. Vinegar is working out normally- yes everyone knows when I’ve been around! -
I get really really really sw
eaty hands. I’ve tried with & without warming up. I usually have to wipe the pole after 1 spin, pole trick. I used my pole for 1hr yeaterday after doing it & I still had a great grip. Let me no how u get on. xx
