Hi everyone. I just got my Chrome 45mm X-Pole XPert yesterday and it doesn’t feel smooth when I clean it or slide down it. I don’t know how to explain it other than when my hands are wrapped around it, and I slide down, it feels “bumpy” not smooth. The poles at my studio are not like that and I’ve never heard anyone mention this. Is there something wrong with mine? I tried searching for this, but can’t find anything. 🙁

Thank you in advance for any information!

I would try to contact X Pole. They will want pictures. There is a possibility that there were imperfections in the pole surface prior to chroming. Is it both A and B pole?

I set it up very quickly before I went to bed last night out of excitement. I’m not sure if it’s both poles. Definitely B pole, I’ll have to check A pole to be sure. The funny thing is that when you look at it, you cannot tell at all, but I definitely FEEL it. I’ll check both pieces when I get home. Ugh. I’m sad now… 🙁

Thanks Stephanie. I will have more details tonight and I will contact you all. The problem is that when we look at it, it “looks” smooth, but when you grip it to spin, slide, or clean it feels like it has indentions in it. Not sure how to explain it and I’m not sure I can get a picture of how it “feels”. 🙁

That’s ok- we still need pics- we might spot something you wouldn’t 😉
Also please check all your other pieces too for this “feeling”- not to worry- we will help you out!
