I just received a new xpole xpert 50mm Chrome for christmas from xpole. I have had it for about 2 weeks now. I have taken it down twice, trying to find the perfect place to put it. However, i tried to take it down today and it is stuck.

My pole is on carpet. When you try to twist the whole pole to loosen it, the base starts spinning with the pole and the threaded adjuster rod will not twist up or down.

I have tried taking the 3 screws out completely and that did not work. I have also tried putting frozen vegetables on the pole and that didnt work. I read that you can spray WD-40 into the 3 holes at the bottom however, i rent and i do not want the WD-40 to stain my carpet.

And to make matters worse, i have called Xpole everday this week and their phone just beeps, so there is no one to talk to talk to…

I hope that makes sense. Has anyone experienced this or have any advice?

There are 2 possibilities, but you said that you already unscrewed the 3 screws that lock it into place.  The only other thing that I can think of is that you have put it into spin mode and are trying to remove it without setting it back into static.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure she has it set back to static, since she told me (we talked in person, I told her to post here!) that it goes down a bit and THEN gets stuck. I can't imagine what the deal is. :/

I had that same problem with my first xpert. It turned out the threads on the adjuster rod and A pole were damaged and the A pole would not screw down because of it. i managed to take it down in one piece, disconnected the B pole and the base so I could just focus on the adjuster rod and A pole. It took a strong man, a wrench and a vice to get the A pole off the adjuster rod. he was able to straighten out the threads on the adjuster but the A pole was damaged from the wrench and the crooked treads. I called Xpole when the problem initially rose and they replaced the A pole for me quickly! ALWAYS make sure your threads are clean and free of debris! one tiny stone or pebble will cause the threads to bend or fall out of line.
