    Hi,

I recently began pole classes once a week to train my upper body for Tough Mudder. It has been 1 month and I would like to up my pole classes to 3 times a week. I can’t pole at home ( slanted ceilings/ no room). Is it a good idea to up my training by that amount?

As long as you feel okay poling 3 times a week. Just depends on how your body feels

    Hi 🙂

I am new as well (4 weeks today) and actually started poling 6 times a week at the studio and take one day as an “off” day. I have been progressing really quickly but also listen to my body and take an extra break if I am too exhausted. I also hadn’t done any type of exercise in a long time so I agree with Phoenix as long as your body feels good and you listen to your body there shouldn’t be any reason not to.

    Happy Poling!

I run about 3 times a week (upping to four) so I will just go for it in after I see how I fair poling twice a week this week. Thanks for being nice gals.

They all have great advice, best to listen to your body! I might add that if you have slanted ceilings you can put a pole up! Both x-pole and lil mynx have vaulted ceiling adaptors for the pole!
