Hi all and greetings from Finland! I discovered this page last week and oh man, it’s just amazing! Videos are great and so clearly explained.
I’m 33 and tried pole dancing first time about two months ago. I have only had few lessons, but got addicted straight away. Next year I’m planning to have pole and also aerial yoga lessons three times a week. And of course I’m dreaming of my own pole 🙂 I have no gymnastic or dance backround, no flexibility or strong core, so I’m really gonna enjoy every step to become stronger and better.
I also like gym training, dressage and horses generally, travelling, cooking, sewing and other hand crafts.
I follow already so many of you in instagram and you all are so inspiring ladies! There’s so many great videos and pics. So glad I found this community

Welcome! You found a good place! Veenas lessons are hands down the most clear, safe, thorough and accurate lessons out there. Highly recommend doing the 30 day take off! It gets you strong enough to get ready to start doing all the fun stuff. Having a solid base is key! Just watch those videos and start your journey!! Veena will explain what you do each dat on the 30 day program and there will be a series of videos underneath to follow along with the exercises. Form is CRUCIAL so it’s best to be strict about it from the beginning.

If you have questions on any moves, just post then here on the forum and girls can help you out and give some suggestions. Welcome welcome welcome! You found the most supportive community made up of all different kinda of inspiring women :)))) congrats! You conpleted step 1 😉

Hi and welcome!!! I use to ride YEARS ago and always thought dressage was gorgeous! I only knew the basics and my horse was trained as a barrel racer soooo he didn’t like the English saddles at all! Lol

Welcome! I found this community about a month ago and ordered my pole right away. I finally was able to start the lessons this week. They are extremely helpful. I am really enjoying pole. I hope you do as well!

Welcome! I used to ride many years ago – I think the core control, balance and body awareness you develop in dressage will be really helpful for your pole practice. Plus the glutes and thigh muscles from riding! And of course all riders know how to fall safely hee hee! Hope you enjoy your pole adventure and the camaraderie here on this lovely site.
