The past few months, after a night of pole stuff I have a hard time getting up in the morning.  I get up super early (345a) to go to work.  I mean like I hit the snooze alarm alot before I finally force myself up b/c im gonna be late for work.  Any other day, I struggle to get out of bed just not as bad.  Come on, 345a is very early to start your day!  I feel like I should pole for an hour then go to bed just so I can get the max amount of rest I can get in a night.

    Anyone else get like this?

Maybe your over working youself? or it may be other factors as well. bad springy mattress, eating too heavy too close to going to bed, etc.

You know its funny I go through time in the year were I so tired all the time. Even if I get alot of sleep, all I want is my bed and more rest. I think some time your body just needs more sleep for one reason or another. Try taking some days off and sleeping as much as possible, that usally helps!

You know I thought I was over working myself but then comes the big question – sleep or train?  I get super tired by 7p, that I have to take a nap just to make it through the rest of the night.

I only get like this when it's the time of the month for me.  I don't know why, but I'm just super tired all the time during the time of the month.  I hear for some girls they get tired a week before their menstrual cycle and some just feel tired when it's happening.

I’m practically the living dead for 48 hours every month, starting the day or two before my period and the first day of it. Anytime I work out hard 3 days in a row I have problems getting out of bed as well.

I have the same problem! I used to teach two pole classes back to back thursday evenings and then sometimes go out to the bar after and friday mornings at work I was always exhausted. I felt exhausted yesterday at work as well since it was day 6 of work in a row and I had worked two nine hour days (630am – 330 pm) monday and tuesday. Mini I have to be at work at 6:15 most days so i feel your pain!!! I always feel bad because i get so exhausted and I pound 5 hour shots and the pink rock stars like it's my job on my long days. I feel super tired today too even though it's my day off but I got my period yesterday and I am getting over a sinus infection and bronchitis so I'm wondering it it's related to that. I hope it goes away because it's annoying!

What time are you going to bed? Youre probably not getting enough real rest!  If I had to get up that early, Id have to go to bed at 8 to be able to function…

2 main things that help me…

food – i tend to snack a lot on biscuits but i'm trying to reduce this and eat more healthily. Doctor recommended protein at night to help me get more restful sleeps. I don't tend to have a protein rich diet despite doing pole / weight / flex traning so i do find that has helped me (protein shake at night after intense workout rather than biccies!!). i get few breaks in work so i keep foods i can snack on if i get 10 mins – cracker and rye breads, dried fruits, protein bars. Plenty of water and reduced caffeine intake. (i've been off work and pole this week and i feel like poo as i know i'm not being good with my food, even though technically i should be feeling good!)

snooze – don't hit the snooze button!! set your alarm for the time you ned to get up, and then get up straight away!

i suppose you have to consider your whole lifestyle. is the sleep you get good sleep? are you getting the most out of your exercise or are you too tired? sometimes relaxation is important too!

@minicoopergirl You might wanna get your iron levels tested. I've struggled with anaemia in the past, and a course of iron tablets could help?

    Feel better soon xx

I sometimes have this, Sundays I close the restaurant, open on Mondays. I don’t sleep in between, I would oversleep (I gotta be there @ 4:45am) I take a nap before the studio’s bootcamp (I quit the pole session afterwards due to over sweaty body). Then work at 8am Tuesdays. Tuesdays after fitness classes I don’t try any more, straight to bed around 10pm. It’s a rotating schedule other than mentioned above, I crash every once in a while. But usually give pole, fitness/bootcamps a rest 1-2 times a week, even though my heart pouts. On a side note I’m recovering from BAug, & my back is killing me when I take in too much pole, fitness, light rest. New boobs, or lifestyle?
