I was jamming with a dear friend and we started talking about conditioning work… I mentioned that I always sorta wondered if I could climb without using my legs, arms only. She challenged me, and whaddayaknow, I did it. Climbed all 15 feet of it. And GOOD GAWD was I tired afterward, lol.

So that was something I always sort of wondered about, and finally did. What things have you wondered about, and have you done them–or tried them, at least? If not, why?

Congratulations!! That’s HARD!! It requires sooo much strength!!

I’m still a newbie but I remember the first time when I susscessfully climbed the pole and the first time when I did an invert…I was like “Wow” – it feels like you’re on top of the world…LOL

I saw Dirdy Birdy’s recent YouTube video where she did a spinning no-leg climb…I was mesmerized…Definitely on my Pole Bucket List!! ^_^

Ooooh, I'll have to try that. I bet it wouldn't be all that different, just a switch in grip so you turn as you lift.

Ohhh, yogini leaves ENORMOUS bruises on my inner bicep. It's funny, it doesn't hurt while getting into or out of, or while I'm in  the pose… but you'd never know it from the bruises, lol.

So this week I'll be trying out the spinning no-leg climb. Thanks for the suggestion, Mechie.  ðŸ™‚
