Day 9 I’m so grateful for my boys, they teach me an unlimited amount everyday about love and they also the most beautiful reminder of the ever present mystery which is the world we exist in. 💛💙

Ha, well you captured most of the important stuff. 🙂
What I did (maybe this is cheating?!) I didn’t sink into it. I went into cobra with my chest against the wall THEN put my palms on the wall and slid them up. If I started with my hands up it was stretching my shoulders and back at the same time and it was just too much. 🙂 one thing at a time for me!

That’s funny that’s exactly how I got into it, At least this way I could breath easily ha!! I couldn’t do it the way she showed… Way too intense ! loving this challenge though… This is the most I’ve been dedicated to self care (aka catching my breath 🙂 in a looong time. I usually feel like dancing after a yoga session too so thats been great. Ok done rambling 😉

I’m behind! The last 2 days I’ve been running around trying to get things out of boxes, with a focus on the kids rooms and kitchen so we can function again!
I’m grateful for my bath tub and sleep!! Keep up the good work everyone, and I would get into day 9 from cobra too!

I have to say as a bonus gratitude post… I’m very grateful for this community.
Maybe I’m a skeptic, but on instagram the vast majority of likes and comments are to elicit likes and follows. If someone says “awesome” to your post #yoga (for instance) and you look at other pics #yoga and see that same person saying “awesome” to just about every single picture… yeah, it’s not genuine. It’s fine.. thats what you get when you hashtag, I get it.
But on here, if someone says “awesome” and they don’t mean it (although I think most people actually mean it, but lets pretend for a second that they don’t really think its “awesome”) their only motive is to make you smile and boost your confidence. Much better motives if you ask me. 🙂
Now, I’m not meaning to knock instagram. Creating a pole instagram was a great decision and its introduced me to a lot of people and things… but it doesn’t compare to SV! Love you all.

Allyson for some reason I think you may get more of those “likes” than the average bear. You also have a happy infectious energy that maybe pulls more people to you when they see thumbnails! I think the yoga challenges may bring out those people a lot, whereas the pole community doesn’t seem to do it as much. Thats just personal experience though!

🙂 thanks Lucca. You’re too sweet.
I’ll wholeheartedly agree that it’s the yoga challenge that brings out those likes/comments. I actually really don’t mind or care… Sometimes it brings me to their page and I actually follow if I like what I see… I mean honestly for someone to take the time and comment on allllllll those pictures they obviously care a lot about followers and maybe even yoga?!
I very rarely look at my number of likes or judge a picture by the “success” it has on Instagram. I do like hastags because they do help you browse pictures though.
I really didn’t mean to knock Instagram… So many sweet and beautiful people there too.
I just appreciate the sure awesome genuine people here… And how nothing here feels like a contest or like you need to play games for follows 🙂 it’s just a breath of fresh air sometimes!!! 💕💕💕
Oh and when Veena hashtags Vegas I have to smile at all the club promoters that want her to go to their club 🸠🙂

I love instagram too, WAY more than FB, I like that I ONLY see who I choose to follow! However, I agree, hanging out here I feel far more connected to everyone. The interaction is great on SV and yes, just having someone acknowledge you can make your day. Besides working to create the best online pole curriculum, my other goal was to create a kind, and caring, space in this huge world of online hate and rudeness! I have often been a victim of online hate and I know how much it can hurt, I don’t want anyone to feel that way if I can help it! xoxoxo
I usually delete the Vegas promoters replies. lol
