ok so i'm good with my one handed spins on static, no problem but on spinny! i feel like i'm going to fall. is this to do with hand strength?? i'v been working on reverse grab and have no problem gripping with static but again on spinny i have no chance at all. it's really annoying!

any tips or advice would be truley appriciated 🙂 xxxxx

Spins on spins aren't really spins anymore—-try to think of it that way.

They become holds—the pole spins for you.

As the pole spins, you now begin to fight velocity and a whole other bunch of things happening that the force you apply–goes against the force of the pole and you will peel off and land on your butt. I know–I have done it….and bounced 3 times on my butt across the floor before coming to an abrupt stop against the wall.

There are some great threads on here about this very topic…..It is Chemmie who is the forum search goddess…..but I will go and have a look and see what I can find…..

I am the same way. I am too afraid to try a RG on spinny mode. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif

Sensual–try getting into position and pushing off the floor–that is how I adapted the RG to spin. You have to take out the leg swoop–

I start by getting myself into the the postion that happens after the swoop(if that makes any sense) then I push off with my foot. I find there is no freakin way I can do it one handed though. That lower hand must be behind me lower on the pole or I whap the back top portion of my hip bone into the pole every time.

I will do that. I have been attempting it from the side of the pole and doing a "push off." Kinda scary. Right after I'm like "oh no no no no no."
