What’s the deal with all these girls (mostly exotic) dancing with only one knee pad ? I’m guessing it’s so one knee can slide/take the brunt of the floor work and the other knee pit can grip for pole work? If that’s the case, which knee should you wear it on? Dom side? Non done side? Seen it a lot on IG and was curious bout it

Yeah, I think it was brought up in regards to Eva Bembo (but it was more of a knee sleeve)…

I try and be “even” but if I had to pick…. I’d put it on my left knee. While my right side invert is better, my left side is fine and my knee hook on my right knee is much stronger…. I only really have my cupid with my right knee….

And my splits are better with my right leg forward so my left knee would need the cushion

Yeah a lot of the girls out of the Bembo studio seem to do it and then I’ve seen maddie sparkle and Michelle shimmy do it sometimes. Those are just who come to mind but even they don’t do it all the time. Wasn’t sure if there was some strategy or something fun 😎

https://instagram.com/p/5UZEtdE–A/ See they both got it one on here. The ones I found of maddie sparkle looks like she might just do that for splits training

Yeah. If I was practicing a specific move for a routine on the same side, such as that little turn on the knee, Or like a drop split, I could see it being useful.

Occasionally I’ll put one mighty grip ankle protector if I’m working on the same thing over and over. 🙂

I pinched something in my knee doing some floor stuff so now I where one if I know I will be doing floor work.

Our patented Knee Protectors (both styles) have open backs so one can grip the pole with the back of the knee area. You can see both styles at http://www.mightygrip.info or

Please be aware the original Knee protectors do come in a left and right leg where as the Liquid Motion knee protectors can be used on either leg. Thank you, Joel
